And thats when I stoped reading. Would anyone like to tell me whats wrong with this statement?

lol@seeds and stems

I don't smoke because I care about my future. You may think that a cigarette or two is harmless, but over time it'll take off 20 years from your life. After a while, you may decide to experiment with marijuana, and that's the end of your life. Not necessarily literally, but you're life won't be the same after pot.

so you completly disregarded everything just because of that, please stop being foolish, the facts are the facts.
And the fact is half that page was BS. The first sentances were factualy wrong. What about the good effects of smoking pot? For all the doom and gloom it failed to show a direct death from smoking pot.

How so exactly is pot the end of your life?

Seriously are you trying to imply that weed improves health (remember this is aside from serious health issues that can only be cured from weed).

It may not kill you, but the addictive power of marijuana will make you its slave. You wouldn't be able to go a day without craving for it. Eventually one joint wouldn't be enough, and you start smoking more and more. Eventually 5 or 10 joints wouldn't be enough, and you start looking for stronger drugs to satisfy your craving. And since a lot of the drugs you'll be craving is illegal, it's also very expensive. You won't be able to afford it because no one will hire you, so you'll have to resort to robbery. I don't think I have to go further, you can see how things go downhill from there.

It most certanly can improve mental health. Inhaling smoke period isn't good for you but the amount per million pot smokers take (not including tobacco) is negligable. Weed has more usefull side effects then negative. You are not 4x more likely to have a heart attack after you smoke. You realy need to get the whole story and what the government tells you. For real dude how can you take to heart a study that is factualy wrong on alot of points including but not limited to the second sentance.

 You have no idea what you are talking about. 5 to 10 joints of good weed would make you feel horrible, you probably couldn't even smoke that much, you would be too disoriented. Most people who smoke it smoke less and less as they get older.

First of all, I just quickly googled something because I was in a hurry. Now that we have that out of the way, the reason I think smoking weed is good for you (besides common sense) is that I've listened to lectures from proffessionals in the field who have come to my school. But besides, if weed was beneficial to human health why is it that it is considered a harmful drug?
How about this:
You find a scientific study that showed weed was more beneficial to human health than it is harmful (excpet of course in the case of treatment of some serious illnesses).

Wow  that's just not true. Sounds like you're talking of heroin and not marijuana.

I used to smoke (tobacco) when I was a teenager, but stopped when I grew a bit older and wiser.

You should watch "hooked illegal drugs and how they got that way" not just the one on marijuana. (i recomend all of them) they were produced by the History channel. Weed is illegal not because its harmfull. Many legal things are far more harmfull. Look up the "Laguadia report" it was a gov. funded study that was dismissed because it didn't tow the party line. (BTW Laguadia was the govener of NY and is who the airport is named after) Those "professionals" are not professionals. They are sent to your school to intimidate you. Believe what they say about heroin, extacy, meth and coke. But not what they say about pot LSD or mescaline (peyote).

The same ones about pot. Take Red Strangers post about weed and in stead insert LSD and you have their spiel. They tell you things like LSD will get you so hooked you'll be messed up for ever and they greatly over exaggerate the hallucinations part. I again point you to "hooked illegal drugs and how they got that way" the LSD episode.

I'm not a republican!!!!! Realy I'm not. I'm a libertarian-conservitve-liberal-democatic-republican -indipendant with the slightest pinch of green party tossed in.

I smoke weed, salvia, DMT, opium, hash, cigarettes, and the occasional perquosets rolled into a blunt.

Sometimes I think about smoking mushrooms, but I'm worried it'll waste them.
