It also should not be forgotten that all kinds of racism/"racism" exist (racism in the sense of discrimination and prejudice against a group due to somatic/other traits). Even going just by somatic (bodily) traits, there are many used to think less of people that have them.
That said, i am certainly of the view that all kinds of racism can be diminished, even considerably; but never become actually extinct.
I also think - as i said many times, providing the reason why i think so - that the way most people go about trying to diminish racism is entirely futile, and if anything it seems to provoke a slight rise to it due to reactionism.
