DominatrNES II: From Chariots to Corporations

Ah, still progressing wonderfully :) and especially peacefully - I think it is the lack of economic and military stats with units that make me not think of war :p

You are aware that spending almost only on technology is a way to gain everything else much easier? I also suggest you start writing what comes after 9, since that's only 2-3 turns away :p

Ohhhh that's what the how it works. I thought if I had 2population I would get pottery, 2military to get bronze etc.

These rules are pretty weird.

I wish to lol at you :)

Technology race obviously meant spending on research :P

It wasn't obvious, the first few techs they showed looked like this

0-Agriculture
3-Pottery (2Pop)
6-Bronze Working (BRONZE 2Mil)
9-The Wheel (1Tech 1Econ)

No information with it at all

Well the lack of 1,2,4,5,7,8... should have hinted that it isn't just "invest this to get that".

also the rules said so: "Research- This statistic measures your technological progression. For every 3 points in Research, a new technology is learned. The advancements progress in a linear fashion. Technology has a huge influence on your success, as a civilization with access to bronze will dominate on the battlefield, and a civilization with a banking system will generate much more income. To see the advances, look at the technology timeline further down the page. "

But that is actually an interesting idea for a system! hmmmmm

Well when it said a new technology is learned I thought you would receive something at random like +1 military or something

Minor question regarding the rules: if we spend more than 10 points on a single stat, will there be a chance of increasing that stat twice? If I spend 15 points on Religion, does that mean I have a 100% of getting one point in Religion and then 50% on getting another point? Or, if I spend 20, am I guaranteed 2 stat increases in religion?

my bad, i really should have been specific with that.
to make things clear, the way it works is:

the first number is the tech value you need to have (for example, if you have 6 points, you have Bronze Working and everything else above it, so Pottery and Agriculture as well.

the word written is the technology you will acquire.

in parentheses is the reward you get for achieving it. It can be a statistical reward, discovery of a new resource, or other things later on. (for example, banking will give you the ability to convert treasury into points to invest in your stats, and it will give you the ability to make loans to others)

RL. Please drop me. Sorry.

I think I've made my order yet, but I'm not really sure. Can you say to me if it really is?
