remember kids... there is one run-away nation in this game... one with 8 provinces.
there are a couple with 6 provinces.

all others have 5 or less.

your income is probably mostly based on the number of provinces you have... so if you are trying some dirty tricks on your neighbours- consider how much money the other neighbour is making every turn from his 8 or 6 provinces before you pick on the guy with 3, 4, or 5 provinces....




also a question:
if i have a group of units that all have capacity to fly, can they fly over a neighbour's frontier (or border) province and strike at one within their interior without facing the defenders of that frontier/border province?

Over land that's unlikely, as they'll have to land from time to time to rest and eat. However, there's no reason why they'd allow the opponent to deal a battle. It's not easy to force someone to fight if they don't want to, so it's possible to fly across weakly defended provinces and only have a few skirmishes, but it's unlikely you could fly over heavily defended provinces, as they probably have enough armies to force a confrontation.
Also note your eagle warriors can't fly outside battles (bless effect don't last long enough).

I added a naval map in the Map post on the first page so naval provinces now have names which will make things easier when talking about navies and where they are.

I don't know what nation you could be talking about...
But if you attack your big neighbor then that will likely start a long and bloody war that will destroy both sides, allowing the nearby nations to start picking off provinces from both sides like vultures. Oh, and they probably have a large standing army.

Well... it seems we have rapidly run out of independant nations... soon the powers will begin forming military alliances and turning on one-another...
i don't think i will be the first to attack one of the other player nations... i suspect it will be a small coalition ganging up on a big nation.... but who knows how it will play out...

On a slightly different tack, I don't suppose anyone here would be interested in taking a map (or two, of the same place) from Paint and porting it to something like GIMP?
