Other powerful ones:
The will of GabeN
The ability to play pdox games
The ability to play tf2
the ability to easily coordinate games with one another
You objectively do need Steam to play Civilization V, TF2, and most new Paradox games legally.
I would sing Steam more praises except the store page is the ugliest mess I have ever seen right now. It is really that hard to make the store page not a mess?
Steam had terrible customer support a while ago, but I don't know if they've fixed that
An inebriated chimpanzee with a typewriter would do a better job at customer support than EA.I got hit by the brick wall of Steam-as-DRM in 09 by Empire and its horrid launch. Then a couple years later I got Warband and All Was Good.
But yeah ya'll are all steambabies to me.
Really, though. I have no idea what's on sale. There needs to be a special window for 75% off games which are on my wishlist or n+ friends have.
I've had pretty good experiences with their customer support so I guess? Certainly better than EA.
