"Two things I dislike made something awesome together. Huh."

This afternoon I will be going to Crisis Games between this afternoon to Friday afternoon. Whether I has internet connection will depend but in whatever case I will see you later on.

For IOTs I am in: I will be definitely be able to review my actions in the evening of Friday. Till then if I don't have chance on Wensday and Thusday evening I will trust the GMs and encourage diplomacy towards my nations after my return or if I reply from Gregynog Hall.

I figured I'd pop into Argentina and link to whatever cool things I'm reading at the time.

The first timeline I'm reading right now is The Falcon Cannot Hear, an althist timeline with the PoD being the assassination of FDR and the Presidency of Garner leading to the Second American Civil War. The timeline covers largely American events, for the most part, with some coverage of the Second World War in Europe and affairs in the disputed territories between Imperial Japan, Russia, and China. The timeline is a pretty good read so far and is ongoing, and the author is the same one behind Her Diamond Heart, I believe. Updates are largely textbook format with a narrative prose here and there.

The second timeline I'm reading right now on AH.com is Toxic Stars: The Future of Humankind in the Cthulhu Mythos. This one actually requires an account to read, but so far so good. Unlike Falcon, I haven't reached the latest posts, so I don't know how regularly it updates or anything. The update style of this is also pretty different from Falcon since it comes in the form of database queries, narratives, and textbook style reading. As you probably guessed by the name, it is a grimdark sci-fi timeline set in a Lovecraftian universe.

Book wise, I finished Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King recently, which I personally liked. It has no supernatural focus here, and is through-and-through a crime story. I'm reading the Foundation trilogy right now, and am now in Foundation and Empire.

Chatango is really buggy as of this morning, do we have an IRC backup? Or should I just go bother #neverending?

Completely agreed.

Or your bathrooms? There are so many goddamn stinkbugs in my house and I REALLY hope one doesn't show up when I'm on the crapper.

I know! We can use the Steam IOT Group Chat! Great idea Sam! Why don't we go on there now?

Very powerful one: playing Civ5
