I am using the latest version. Is that 1.5? Sorry im not very good with technical things, but I know it is the latest version on the DyP website.

Anyways, does anyone know how to fix my problem? Whenever i get to about the middle ages it says "Load Error: Missing file 'Knight Death.wav'". Can anyone help?

this mod is SOO cool. im playing a game as china on the huge world map, and im miles ahead of the world. im colonizing the pacific, and keeping my spears up agaist the romans who are colonizing.

None of the units in DYP 1.50x need a file called 'Knight Death.wav', so I don't think you're using the newest version. You may have installed the newest version, but in that case, I don't think you started the game with the newest BIX file (called 'DYP 1.50x ...' )

I have downloaded and installed your mod pack several days ago.
The version of it on the DYP web-site was 1.50.
Yes the idea is great but at nowtime it also contains many bugs and errors. When i tried to create Merchant(the unit which add construction points to city) I got errror; I also was unable to check some of research directions. Some of the pictures have color
shifts but in general it looks cool.

AlexBu, there is no Merchant in 1.50
You need to install 1.05 before 1.50. That could be the problem. Or you are starting the game with the wrong scenario file. The proper contains 1.50x in the name and should be easily identifiable.

Is Conquests compatible with the current version of DyP? I am hesitant to buy it if it is. Thanks.

C3C is compatible with PtW, so yes. You can play DyP with C3C.
So is DyP going to be 'upgraded' to C3C, or are you going to keep it as is?

The DyP guys are making Rise and Rule, which will be a whole new mod, but in a sense a continuation of DyP. DyP officially stops at PTW.

DYP will NOT work with conquests. I would post a screenshot but don't know how to make or post one.

While in Civ3, press 'Print Screen' of what it is you want to make a screen shot of. Then exit Civ, or switch to your desktop, and run MSPAINT or whatever flavor of graphics program you use. Paste the picture into the program, and remember to save the file as a .jpg, as this format is usually the best at compression. Some people like .gif, but I prefer .jpg myself. Then, when replying to a message, use the attach file feature in the reply box. As long as the .jpg is under 100k, you can attach it.
So you say the picture is bigger than 100k? No problem. Scroll to the bottom of any CFC page, and find the upload file link. Select the graphics file you want to upload, and upload it to the server. Then, as you're replying to the message, put this in the message:
[img]http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads5/YourFileNameHere.jpg[/img] and this will cause the image to be displayed in the post. If you're going to attach more than one image, then you need to upload each image to the server. If you're going to do one image, and it is less than 100k, you can attach it in the post reply window. You cannot attach a file from the quick reply window, however.

Try it again, but take the space out of dyp screenshots.jpg. The server doesn't like spaces.

I would love to fix it, but unfortunately I don't have the final version of Conquests yet, so it will have to wait, I'm afraid
