Dr.NES - The DOOM Project: The Sapphire of the Sea

Light's out guys. *turns to Doc McCoy* Hey Doc, this feel a bit like some kinda horror flick to you. Heh. Those shots weren't too comforting either, eh?

Just a bit too much: and that pool of blood is getting creepier by the second. Wish I had thought to bring some flashlights, or something.

I know you're not an electrician, Jim, but, do you think you could rig something to give us emergency lighting?

(OOC: actually thought I had brought lights, but... clearly forgot to put that in my inventory... :\)

@Squad via Radio: do you think someone could bring me the body of the dead woman you found? Only if possible, I don't want any of you getting hurt on that account, but It may help to know how she died.

Ummm, well Doc, don't know if I can pull a light outta my ass, but I'll look around for something. Anyone else in here maybe have a light?

@Mod: Well, looks like I'm gonna look around for a flashlight or some other lighting device in here.

Could we have gone with the flashlight on the helmet configuration? Also, is there really anything for me to do in here?

(Act concerned and somewhat disconcerted):

"Umm... hello. I woke up about two hours ago and my daughter went missing, she looked like [give description of the girl I saw]. I haven't seen anyone except you guys in these past two hours of searching and have absolutely no idea what's going on in the ship. Could somebody please fill me in? Did everyone evacuate the ship or something?"

@mod:
Ah, well, if we have even the most minor of lights, I'd like to continue to chat with the captured man, becoming as friendly with him as possible: hopefully revealing more.

I'll also monitor the situation of the injured crew member, doing what is necessary to keep him alive.

Alexandrov:
@ Delta fireteam (echo)
Team, ready to move into decks 3, 2 and 1. Decks secured but remain cautious. Rex will come with me down the bow stairs, Grin and Ilya will go down the infirmary stairs with the Charlie Fireteam and both teams proceed to 1st deck. Men with night vision goggles will lead the operation. Meet up with recon team at bottom level. Recon team, you'll receive short radio signal(code) once Delta enters 1st deck to avoid friendly fire.

Doc McCoy follow Delta fireteam into deck 2 to check the bodies.

@all
Delta fireteam is moving into engineering. Remain cautious, so far hostiles have been less severe when compared to worst scenarios, which potentially can mean more severe hostiles elsewhere on the ship. Bridge, be on alert, and other teams on higher decks report immediately when something unusual happens.

Negative on that: I need to be here to treat any of you, as well as hold the infirmary, in case anything happens. I can't be running around the ship. You all NEED a safe place to fall back too.
Edit: I will happily analyze any body that is brought here, though

I say we'd need someone with at least decent medical education to check the bodies or someone to carry bodies (or at least one of the many) to the infirmary to be checked.

Birch: "Well this is just great timing all around. First the security files, and now the power goes out right when I'm on to something. Well Sarge and Jakko, I can't do anything more from here until power is restored. Either of you got any ideas?"

well, we all know how much Arnold doesn't like danger ( :p ). maybe he'd be willing to run bodies back and forth?

Hey doc, I am on deck 6 right now. Want me to bring you some whiskey from the bar? :p

@Mod, well, then I'll just look for a lamp or something :p

You find some emergency flashlights, but that's about it.

They look at each other for a moment. No one really raises their voice to talk; instead, you get a few mumbled about "what girl?" , "Men with guns down below..." , and "hostages." They continue into their rooms.

The injured crewman is steady and he is recovering.

When the gunfire erupted down below, the man covered his ears. "That's the gunfire!" he yells. "That's the enemy!"

@Mod: then I set up the flashlights to give the most light to my work areas, and also one on the door, so we can see if anyone tries to get in.

ooc: Gamezrule, you can join the assault team, if you have nothing better to do :p

Nils: Guys, there's something really screwed up with the people we found. It looks like they are either in shock, or hypnotized. And with the lights out, it isn't easy to act as good as we have been doing. Should we go back?

OOC: Also, I can't help but think that the lights were turned off for a really bad (for us) reason, besides screwing up with our vision...

Ulysses:

"Youriy don't forget that Charlie team need to get down here as well. Well actually its just Gull and Yuri but still nine men would be better than seven."

OOC: Actually Gamezrule is part of the recon team as he met the criterion and was under my command at the time I was putting it together. So at the moment you're standing a bit away from the barricade, waiting for the assault team to turn up.
