Dr.NES - The DOOM Project: The Sapphire of the Sea

ooc: damn I'm confused about the teams right now, and the front page doesn't seem to be updated with the current locations either. Dreadnought, could you check that?

Team Echo is as shown on the front page, ignore team Foxtrot and imagine everyone is in Echo. Foxtrot is kept up in case the two groups need to separate out in the lower decks again. What Dreadnought hasn't done is shown team Golf, which is the recon team and mostly drawn from team Echo.

Team Golf has the Bear, Ilya, Wilhiem and myself as members. Wilhiem will have to decide whether he will go elsewhere or join the assault. If he joins the assault he will be placed in a fireteam. Any clearer?

Of course team Golf no longer exists and was only a very temporary team, probably why he didn't put it up.

(Towards my teammates, but in a way that the civilians can't hear)

Spooks: "Well, it seems like they're not telling us what they really know; we're going to have be more forceful in that case. We shouldn't hurt them, but since they think I'm a fellow passenger, you guys should do the interrogation. You guys should also conduct a search of them and their rooms."

Roger:

@McCoy: I have a couple glowsticks.

@Mod: I'll give over a glowstick for McCoy to use. Also, switch my cams over to thermal mode until lights come back.

Bill
Signal: Wait here or back aways?

@ Mod

is there something below the walkway? Try to see/look at it.

Signal: Back a little bit further maybe, but we don't want to go too far.

"Could anyone grab my rifle clip and maybe a pistol clip from my bergan in the infirmary. First aid kit might be useful as well if no-one has already picked it up."

OOC: I already assume we are back aways.

@Dread: My frags should be flashbangs BTW.

Noted, thanks.

You can't see through the doorway, so you can't tell if there is or isn't.

Changed, thanks for pointing that out.

Whispered to Spooks: "Any questions you think take precedence in our interogation? How should we go about searching their rooms?"

"Considering that they're civilians and seem to be noticeably shaken, I would caution you to be gentle in your probings, followed up by harsher interrogation if nothing yields. I would definitely want a description of any hostiles, locations of other passengers, what the hell they are doing here, and anything that they saw out of the ordinary, whether it be cargo, a bomb, or whatever. Considering that you guys have weapons and they don't, I would say they wouldn't put up much resistance when we conduct our search. Definitely check luggage, closets, under the beds, behind the curtains, in the safe, the usual fair; you might want to check if the phones are working and if there a bugs hidden in the television, telephone, lights, etc."

@Mod Are there any civilians still standing in the hall?
If there are then I will place my weapon in a non-ready and disarming location and will walk slowly towards one of the civilians in a non-threatening manner(refer to spec-ops training for civil encounters)
If not, then quietly knock on the nearest door that one of the civilians entered.

You approach a few civilians still remaining in the hall. They turn to you as you approach; they glance at you, then to your weapon, before slowly gazing back towards your eyes.

To nearest civilian: Hello, I am going to ask you a few questions, it is important that you answer them to the best of your ability as your safety and the safety of the entire cruise may depend on it.

@everybody, especially the mod:

I will be gone on a trip until April 25th, during which time I will have no internet access. I give permission to Condor_green or Milarqui to roleplay my character until I come back. I have the following requests:

1. I will be used primarily for disguised recon, CQC on unsuspecting enemies, or interrogation of other people; if necessary, I will also act in short-range combat roles.

2. I will not be used as a meat shield or be sent on a suicide mission.
