The English and Dutch have a long history of cooperation and mercantile success. Why not solidify our friendship and neutral goals of trade and growth with a new treaty? We invite the King and his ministers to a dinner in Amsterdam for the signing of the Treaty of Amsterdam, one that will unify our two peoples in a pact of mutual protection. We can save and protect the high seas with the combination of our great fleets, and together promote trade throughout Europe and the world.

Treaty of Amsterdam

Establishes between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and the Kingdom of the Netherlands:

• The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland recognizes and supports the Dutch rights to the East Indies and all the islands it encompasses
• The Kingdom of the Netherlands recognizes and supports the British rights to the Australian continent, New Zealand, and India
• Both Nations agree to work towards the common good and support peaceful relations between the peoples of both parties
• Both Nation agree to work together for a peaceful solution and the settlement of the Belgium secession.
• All colonial ports governed or maintained by any of the two Nations are hereforth open and free for the use of the other nation of this treaty

Such acts were shot down, and the divine monarchy of the Romanov dynasty was preserved. Russia is a mighty nation, but is begining to lag. Her industries are undeveloped, and many people are in the chains of serfdom. Only time will tell if Russia can be reformed.

An alliance would be beneficial, considering Brazil's illegal occupation of Uruguay, which should rightfully belong to us. However, if Peru will make a fuss over us stirring up their provinces in revolt (something which is not true, I assure you), then we will have to refuse.
