Drug Legalization [POLL Version]

Edit: I voted "Only Marijuana should be legalized." I could give reasons letter, but in short, I not support strong drugs, there was problems with smart drugs also (In Poland), but I think Marijuana should be legal for recreational usage, as it is less bad than alcohol. Also I have nothing so much against to ban alcohol if people know how use it.

Anyway, I don't think the poll is very good, because it goes from only marijuana, to all drugs, and I don't like that, as my leanings fall a bit in between those two.

You repeated yourself? Did you mean to say "Legal" one of the times?

I chose the first option. It doesn't perfectly represent my views, but its the closest one. In short, I'm uncomfortable with the idea of the government regulating what people choose to take into their bodies, and think that doing so sets a bad precedent. That said, I do worry about the effects on society if, say, cocaine was allowed.

That said, people DEFINITELY should NEVER be put in prison simply for using a drug if they didn't do anything else, there should be no FEDERAL laws against it, and I am undecided if its fair for states to ban it.

Things like Alcohol and Tobacco should definitely be allowed everywhere though, and IMO Marijuanna should be allowed too without question.

We do not have problems. We are not even in the first 20 european countries in statistics about alcohol use. I simply do not like alcohol and its influence on human body/mind.

I know in Italy (I know a bit more about it since a large portion of my family are Italians), even young children drink wine and its fine there. There are few, if any problems with it, and few people, if anyone gets drunk, so I see zero problem with allowing it there.

In the US, its abused a lot more, because a large portion of Americans (This is an American speaking BTW, so please don't take offense), are stupid and like to get into trouble. Especially American Teenagers (And again, this is a teenager speaking.) So, while I think 21 is too high an age by a longshot, they just can't have the same laws regarding the issue as Italy.

Well, I drink only small amounts on New Year Eve. I mostly cannot drink on normal day, because of medicines which I must take. But I also not like alcohol so much...

@Civver- I'm OK with it, if the local police would be allowed to investigate people who use hard drugs to make sure no abuse is going on. So make it a Secondary Offense, its illegal but its also illegal to prosecute it unless a different crime is happening.

I would never want every drug to be legalized. But as my feelings truthfully fall somewhere between option 1 and option 2, but closer to option 1, that's the one I went with.

It is because most people here are Libertarians Aquila SPQR They want to decide what is good or wrong to them and their bodies, and they are against government control. Well, I can live without marijuana, even if I will support legalization of it, but I still think there would be less problems with it than with legal alcohol. But I am rather strong drugs, as most of people can only harm themselves by using or trying them. Especially if they are not educated about them and they trying to mix strong drug with alcohol, drive car after them, or do other stupid thing like "trying if I can fly for real"
