So, the random leader generator gave me Beeri Brawl...I'd gotten Kandros Fir in the past and found that Dwarven Druids were the bomb (literally, Crushes means you don't even need Siege to wipe out cities). So after Worker techs, I went for Golem techs (Engineering, Elementalism, Iron Working) and then Commune with Nature for my Druids. Only, I couldn't build them. Nuts on me, I had to be Neutral. Luckily, I had Council of Esus in one of my cities, and being Spiritual I went ahead and made the swap for an alignment change. I lost Bambur :(. It wasn't as bad as it could be I guess, since my Adepts could cast Repair, but still. So, my question is if I ever get these guys again, is there a way to change my alignment without switching religions?

Thanks,
Darrell

nope, religion is the only way. Only adopting the veil can make you evil, only adopting order can make you good. FoL is the only religion that doesn't influence your alignment in any way.

But Rok doesn't make you good when you are neutral in the first place (and turn you to just neutral if you went evil by switching to veil before.).

So if (perhaps during a golden Age whould be a good time to do ;)) as Luchirp you switch to CoE (or OO or Veil) and then back to RoK before you build Bambur you will be Neutral + RoK + have / be able to build Bambur and dwarven druids.

If you want strange combinations you will have to make some planning in advance in FFH2. But quite often it can be done one way or another. :) Always best to make the alignment requirements / religion switches before you build anything that whould leave you if you changed alignements / religions.

Thanks guys...good advice. The nice thing about Beeri Brawl is his Spiritual trait, meaning you can do stuff like this without waitng for a GA. I also took advantage of my 10 turns in Council of Esus to build my allotment of Dwarven Shadows :mischief:.

Nope they don't (you would loose Shadow Knights) and unless it's a bug you only have to have CoE present in the city to build shadows

Yes, exept perhaps those which are barred from using Shadows. (Only Grigori at this i belive have a relly hard time but their denial of Deception and Honor very much sound unintended / bug in light of other changes to make both useful.)
