I need them 
They are very important for me since I have a few "needed stuff" threads in diff forums on e-mail notification. Otherwize, I very rarely step into those forums. It's also nice for topics of interest that may slip my mind.

This is a bit off-topic, but sometimes e-mail notitifaction will not work for me:
I'm bored and browsing through the forums. During my spree through reading at posts, someone replies to a thread that I suscribed to. Then I leave the boards...and I don't get an e-mail notification.
I need'em too. It's just so inefficient through the control panel. I recall one forum where they notified you EVERY time someone posted and it was a real mess. I later turned it off.

it is off for me exactly since the server move. before, it was working fine.

I'm not getting any notifications either
I tried turning it off in the Options and turning it back on - No luck.
I also tried resubscribing to a few threads that are currently active - Still no luck.
Does this mean I'll actually have to figure out a way to make my own memory function properly again?

Yes, just say "Notify me when I receive a PM" option, check it. Or it says something similar to that.
Just thought I would add my name to the list of e-mails not working, but I tend to blame DSL (its either them or Bill Gates, and I was up for something new, so DSL it is) for it, As I practically never turn off the internet, and the e-mail notification stopped as soon as I switched servers.

Me too - it just suddenly stopped working. Outright. The only notification I get now is from Apolyton. BUt the reason in particular is odd. It stopped on a Sunday, where I browse like crazy, sometimes logging on four to five times "just because". And now it's done for.

I haven't gotten email notification regularly since the server move; it has been spotty til a few days ago. Now, I get a few or no email notifications.

I have not been notified of anything, PM or threads, since Friday. I thought it might be because of my ban but now I see it is another general failure. I hope that in the best tradition of firaxis we will at least get a "we are working on the problem" note. I find using my vB home to negotiate previous threads is cumbersome and unweildy because it keeps resetting to the last 0 days of posts when I go away to post and click back on it.
