E-Mail notification not working for me again

Just tested my e-mail as well. No mail arrived at either my ISP address or my old (but still active) Yahoo account.

Tries = 2

Successes = 0
 
And I have jsut conformed that I don't get them at work either. That's 3 different ISPs now (including 2 of the UKs biggest - UK2NET and Demon).
 
this is annoying! no mail no error.....

why the hell is GMX suddenly NOT capable of getting the mail? It worked fine for an eternity!


I think telefragged screwed up!
 
BTW, mine is BCPL (Baltimore County Public Library), of which the ISP isn't that far away from Firaxis. :) But, I don't know if they would block gaming sites.
 
I just called tech support for my ISP, and asked them if they block e-mail from Telefragged.com. They do not. I'm thinking the problem is on Telefragged's end.
 
I think that test page does nothing and was just set up to give us all a place to go so we would stop complaining while they continue to look for the cable that was eaten by a squirrel...
 
The test worked the other day when I sent to my Yahoo email adress - but today it doesn't :crazyeye:
 
There is no conspiracy, Sultan. I am very annoyed by the email problem too. I have been getting half a dozen emails everyday recently from people who haven't received the account activation emails. Out of my 4 email accounts, only the civfanatics.com email account can receive the test email w/o problem.

I'll continue to email Telefragged about the problem until it's fixed.
 
Well I am not accusing you of conspiracy, Thunderfall. (Although TF= thunderfall, tf=telefragged, hmmm....) I am sure this is a bigger hassle for you than us.

Thanks for keeping your eye on this problem and coming back to this thread every couple days to tell us you are working on it. Much kinder than pulling an Infrogrames on us! ;)

Well, I was thinking 'why me?', why do I still not have emails Then I remembered that I used to be an evil man in a past life...

Still, I'm almost at two months now (how bad could I have been?)
 
They got through on my Yahoo account again, but I still can't send test mails to either of my two ISP provided email accounts, so I'm not getting my hopes up too high yet.

But thanks for staying with us on this TF :goodjob:
 
Today is the first day I have received any in a while; thank you TF; hope they keep coming.
 
I'm not - on either of my real email adresses :(

Anarres, maybe we should form a league or something...:)
 
How about the 'We Haven't Got Email And We Don't Care' league?

(or the WHGEAWDC league for short :))

Or maybe the 'We All Need (our) Killer Email Reinstated' league? ;)

Yahoo! I got three email notifications at my Yahoo! account! :jump:

I will watch to see if this continues, though...
