Editing Leader Traits - Possible?

Hi

I'd really like to play as a financial, industrious or maybe financial, philisophical FDR. (Organized is usually worthless for me as I don't tend to expand that much and due to a slower computer I can only play on standard maps. I really like Navy Seals for some reason.) So is it possible to edit leader traits? If so how?

Yes, through the XML files.

Forgive me for asking but how do I go about editing the XML file? I found the one I need to edit (Civ4LeaderHeaderInfo) and have found the spot I need to edit but it won't let me change anything - It just opens in internet explorer like a normal webpage.

You can edit either in Notepad (the easiest to aquire, but it might get confusing) or with an actual XML editting program, which can be found by a Google search.

You might also want to backup those XML files before editing them incase of catastrophic failure.

Oh right. My goodness, good save ArmPilot.

Whenever you change anything in the XML or Python, always make sure to make a copy of the original file, put it in a mod folder, and edit it there. These files override but do not overwrite original files, so you can always go back if you need/want to.
