Our attack on the Hardware Store goes well. We finally were able to see some weaker zombies. What we saw that we injured was quite frightening. We managed to kill a worm, but another survives, and a few Sated zombies, we we are saw two Morticians in the build, so hopefully we have weakened their resistance down a lot. GPS to the Authorities.

 

[Bengal Tiger]

The attack on the Graveyard goes very well. A large number of Sated Alphas are eliminate, and those that are left are extremely weakened. The Authorities expect to take it next turn.

Nothin else interesting to report.

 

[Takhisis]

Coffin Zombies arise from the sewers east from the Dog Pound, threatening faith, the People's Anti-Zombie Holy Liberation Front of Paradise Island shall defend all that is holy no matter what.

The Faith advances, and with the Cross and Sickle as our emblem, Comrade Father Simmons has attained Eltie status through Divine guidance. Zombies of a new type have been spotted, they sneak along and hide from regular eyes, because they can hide among the heaped corpses in the streets and buildings. Strangely enough, they can be easily spotted by children, evil-detecting dogs, and from the air.
It would also seem that the keeping of the Hospital by the Authoritarian faction hasn't kept nurses protected from Zombification, we urge all good-willed inhabitants of this island to engage in pacific resistance to the Authorities who appear to be bent on securing power without actually tending to the welfare of the people.

The Zombies are so many that we run out of ammunition even before we can fight them off. It seems that the Army's rash move northwards might prove fatal, as their troops are a very long distance away from the advancing columns near City Hall.

Onwards and beyond, to fight the unholy fascist undead!

We finally have captured the Hardware Store. The Zombies are not happy and they sent plenty of zombies to come and take it back. Everything else is rather settled for the time being. GPS to the Authorities.

The Graveyard has fallen! The Authorites have successfully occupied the Graveyard, and are currently in the middle of quelling any straggler zombies left.

The Authorities would also like to state that if any of the civilian factions on Paradise Island have discovered a way to effectively "Keep em out", the government would be extremely grateful, and we offer 2000 supply parcels in exchange for that information.

All I got was a humungous email with >300k's worth of characters. I've tried compiling it into a savegame file but Civ3 crashes when I attempt to load it. So&#8230; resend it please?

I saved it to my computer and then resent it. Hopefully it was a problem when I forwarded the save, if not, then Bengal tiger will have to give it to you.

We have decided to refoudn our organisation as the People's Holy Autonomous Republic of Paradise Island, further decrying the massacring of innocent people by fascist forces.

This came through on the radio just now.
Hordes of Zombies come pouring and surging down by the Highway Department's Stockpile, southwards from the Research Centre. We are driven backwards in confusion. Only our courage can save us. *static*
In the meantime, we shot five Zombified Nurses down from the rooftops near the Church, and Abbott Thomas has managed to exorcise three of the enemy units.
While the Cinema seems like an unassailable bastion, we have managed to destroy almost all of the units which could've entered the place next turn. Once we get our special units to destroy their Sewer Tunnels, they will at least be isolated. If all their mobile units there can be downed, it'll be a huge step forward.

Southern Front
Enemy column spotted. Paradise Mortician Downed, Haunted Campfire downed, five assorted Zombies and Coffin Zombies have been destroyed.

We have spotted Roaming Alphas further East near the Bank Area, but we regret there is nothing whatsoever we can do about that.

A new Radio Show will soon be broadcast by our holy patriotic journalists.

Weakened them some more. Another Zombie survived by one point, and another made it by with just 2.

We killed some Zombies attacking the Hardware store and we killed a Devil's reef. Re are recovering from the assault on the Hardware Store to take up another assault just yet. GPS to the Authorities.

The remaining Authorities enter the Graveyard and begin quelling any remaining zombies room by room. The vast majority were killed during the initial barrage, so this will likely be done within the hour. The troops will rest briefly before moving on.

Based on reports, it seems as though none of the civilian factions on the island are in imminent danger of being defeated; if this is not true let us know now and we will see what we can do to help.

*News bulletin from KPHRPI, the radio station of the island nation! This is the noon news broadcast!
Good news, everyone!
There is, or, should we say, was, a Colossus next to the Hardware Store. A single shot from Comrade Spacer One was all it took to destroy the monstruous entity which, being so close to City hall, was inexplicably missed by the Authorities and this leads our experts to believe in a certain&#8230; incompetence from the not-so-civilian Authoritarian faction. Especially given the sight of their dilapidated cars which seem not to be up to the task of running over a few Zombies.
On the cinematic front, we've managed to ivnest the Cinema building but apparently every single spectator there has been Zombified -roaming Alphas have been spotted!

Otherwise, there's not much to tell, except for the resurgence of the old treble trouble -Comrades Takhisis, KingArthur and Tokugawa-san are back on the streets in their renowned Ford Falcon! yahoo-aaah!

The majority of the Authorities vehicles are near the Graveyard. Those that are near City Hall are certainly being used, but they can only kill one zombie at a time.(i.e. no Blitz)

The Colossus was not seen by the Authorities, but it's certainly possible it simply evaded the eyes of our scouts. We are grateful to the good Samaritans who disposed of it, and look forward to mutual cooperation between us in the future.

Okay, I'm going away for a bit. So I won't be back til Wednesday next week.

Any hoo, one of the Alphas at the bank finally died. Maybe another half dozen are sitting on 1hp. Annoying buggers. >>

We start the attack on the Hardware Store. We also kill a few more zombies around the area. When the Zombies attacked, a hornet attacked a badass and was killed and a zombie great leader attacked and killed a farm truck and an engineer. Onto the Authorities.

The Authorities begin to make there way to liberate the Northern part of the Island. However, before they leave the Graveyard, they eliminate a stack of Paradise Morticians and zombies that had spawned at the Sewers near Hannibal's Apartment.

A large stack of zombies is slain near the City Hall.

Once again in the air, the People's holiest and most beloved broadcast returns for its second edition. It is recommended that everyone keep calm and remain indoors.

Now, for some red-hot action: we have destroyed another Roaming Alpha near the Research Centre, this time courtesy of Senior Comrade Charlie, who insists that he ain't too old for this crap. Good one, old boy!

Military Zombies have been spotted near the Armoury, stay away from those guns! They're incompetent, fire their weapons at random, and speak very poor English, but they're not real soldiers! Stay away from them, good citizens and believers of this Island!

A further half-dozen or so Roaming Alphas are spotted going south from the Detective Agency towards the bank, supported by the usual waves of regular Zombies and canines in various states of putrefaction. The corporate sector is in for some heavy losses if they don't withdraw immediately! Guard those boxes, boys!
