Eid Mubarak!

You're getting really celebratory about very normal days of the week lately. I remember seeing you wish everyone a happy tuesday in the Diwali thread. In case I don't catch you tomorrow, Happy Friday!

Well, wishing someone a Happy whatever when they don't actually celebrate the whatever because it is a holiday in a different religion is at best useless, and I try to share the festiveness across all boundaries. [party]

Eid Mubarak ( isn't it mubarakh ? ) to all who celebrate it ! May Allah shower the faithful with his blessings !

Isn't some special dish prepared for Eid ? Over here , it is usually siwayan . What is your tradition , Capulet ?
Thanks!

I don't really know what siwayan is. But over here we just eat traditional Pakistani/Indian food at the masjid and have a party.

Yeaaaa. Are there celebrations going on in England, Ram?

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

So it's Eid Mubarak in Arabic eh? Never knew that. Was always more familiar with the equivalent Malay greeting above.

It's a type of very fine noodle , which is softened by putting in hot a hot , milk-based liquid sweet . Tastes great . Enjoy Eid , then , in whatever manner you like !

But that's just wrong . Alcohol is forbidden to the faithful at all times , unless in case of medical need .

;) Who follows that stuff anyway? Besides she can clense her sins by going to haj to Mecca.

How she choses to interpret her religion is up to her, as long as she doesn't break the law. I'd leave the worrying about her soul to the more orthodox Muslims.
