EltNES: THIS World is Yours

@ General Olaf, thanks for getting that water for me! I got ninja'd by the constant Forum Blackouts yesterday.

2 for River to end in H7 with a large, spindy (Mississippi) delta spotted with lagoons, wetlands, and jungles.

Bank 4

J3, K5, L5, L6 and K7 WATER.

Bank 2

TerrisH: I'm gonna say gold will just be considered metal. Aluminum and coal and the like will have entirely different costs if someone were to create them.

GemHound: I'm sorry, no :( the dice gods dictate everything to me.

General Olaf: Applause, sir.

Terrance: Of course, sir.

Boundless: I would not mind it if you were to list your points with your orders.

Orders:
More water, most of G-7 should be Ocean (4 points)
Bank 2

merciary: I would appreciate how many points you have to be posted with your spending, please. It is a time saver and a conveinience for me.

Sorry I thought posting the amount spent and the amount banked would cover it.

@Terrance: No problem!

22 points initial:

For the record, points from this era cannot be carried over into the next. (The civilization era)

Are we getting towards the end of this stage? How many more updates?

Spoiler :

A7-B9 - Did the coast dictate the hills, or the hills dictate the coast? A truly philosophical question. Neither, the Dinner Plates of the Titans at the center of the world shaped both.

G7-H9 - An area that is shaping up to be an inland ocean has formed with the assistance of one of the windingest (it's a word) rivers in the world, promising great things in the very near future.

J3-L7: A massive, uncooperative coast has seized the southern world by the metaphorical horns, causing a cold wind to blow on the mountains therein.

Spoiler OOC :
Mod's Choice:

+1 Terrance888
+1 Moldath

Totals: (Includes the above additions.)

26 points: Lord of Elves (no orders 2)
15 points: Moldath
12 points: Terrance888
9 points: Boundless
8 points: TerrisH
7 points: General Olaf
6 points: merciary
6 points: Gem Hound
14 points: Eltain

OOCs

1: I am thinking of locking geological events during the civilization era, and making the map a whole lot prettier (while keeping everyone's additions). What are thoughts on that?

2: Do people have ideas for civilizations they are going to nurture? All events are player controlled (that includes me to my minor extent obviously) and I am not asking for much in the way of describing your people or civilizations (though that always helps).

3: Anyone who can name/guess (and subsequently publisize) my favorite part of the civilization era rules gets 2 extra points this coming turn. SALUTE!

Next update Saturday

Turn 8

Like tiny, glistening pimples hills rise in the central region of F10. (Invest 9 points). One of these pustulant hills bursts open and a small, lazy river flows south-west into the nearby sea (Invest 1 point).

1 Point: River heading south-west in F10

OOC: That what you're looking for?

Bank 2

OOC:
I'm fine with you cutting of geological functions in the Civ era. Also I do have a few ideas bouncing around about the nations I want.

ooc: Eltain, have you ever heard of the Aria Worlds role-playing system? It is a pretty great model for having players play anything from mythical epochs to petty kingdoms to intrepid adventurers. I can PM you more info about it if you would like.
