Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

I think two things should be added

Culture Tile should be shown beside the food meter like few mods do.

And I've noticed a bug

When in Hotseat only the first player's tech progress is shown, everybody else sees literally what the first player tech progress is on the tech tree.. so they see what they are researching and have researched.

would it be possible to add in the city view screen : building gold maintenance (below gold ideally) LOCAL happiness / unhappiness

Thanks! There was a cut/paste error, fixed for 1.13
 
I just installed the latest Version of this mod and I'm getting some errors. When I click on a City to Change its production I can not do so. I also can not click on buy a tile or exit screen buttons. The only way to exit the city screen is by clicking exit on the top right corner. I went back to version v1.9 and everything works fine.

This is clearly a conflict with another mod which modifies CityView.lua. Either disable EUI's CityView module, or remove the CityView script from the conflicting mod. The reason why 1.9 seems to work for you is that it did not modify CityView.xml... disabling the CityView module from 1.12 will work the same with the benefit of improvements made since.

In cases like this it is a good idea to load game with no mods:mischief:...then if all goes well and your 'bugs' are gone add in your FAVORITE mods. Doing them one-by-one will help you find the culprit. :scan::please:

After followed your steps (replace your new cityview.rar, remove CityStatePopup folder and cityView.lua from CSD), I still got conflicting between EUI and CSD (i am using 1.9).

Any advise , thank you.
 
HUGE HUGE HUGE ISSUE

As I've mentioned before players in hotseat see Player 1's Tech Progress.

This isn't just visual, it's "physical". Players can't research anything that Player 1 has already researched.. so if Dido has researched Writing nobody can select Writing as the next tech to research :/

I believe you said you fixed it but it might be worthwhile releasing the fix somehow.
 
Maybe you mis-understand, i am using 1.9 CSD version and 1.12 EUI.

But when go to large civil trade, option bug again !!!

Please make sure you are using no other mods than CSD v19 and EUI DLC (either v1.12+patch or v1.13), and that you have removed CSD's own CityView.lua from its ...\Assets\UI\InGame\CityView folder, and disabled EUI DLC's CityStatePopup (otherwise: no greetings).
If you still have problems and want this solved, you need to describe the problem in a way that I can easily understand, post screenshots, lua.log, and game saves before/after the problem occurs.
in hotseat can't research anything :/ it might be worthwhile releasing the fix

  • Fixed some bugs (including one that broke hot seat)
  • Change folder structure: no more UI subfolder, components are directly in UI_bc1 folder (please note that EUI DLC will break if Art* or Base folder are removed)
  • CityView: added code for compatibility with CSD v19
  • TopPanel: happiness mouse over details how luxuries are used local production, imports, exports
 
Good Day, I am trying to get Really Advanced Interface to run with this. I got a clean install of it all, and the mod is correctly installed and showing up for Single Player. For the life of me though it will not work in Multiplayer.

If someone can please explain the steps to use these two together, please spell it out for me.

Are you trying to get Really Advanced Setup to run in multiplayer ?
Enhanced User Interface is a DLC and will run in multiplayer.
Really Advanced Setup is a MOD, by default mods are not available in multiplayer.
 
Ah Ok, well then It is probably my Mistake, I like Enhanced User Interface, but I was under the influence it would make the mod usable in Multiplayer.

If I am mistaken, please do inform me, either way I plan on keeping your "DLC".

No, the E.U.I works fine in MP, I've played 2 if not more online games with it.

You stick it into the DLC folder... as you are aware..

bc1 is refering to a different mod, called the Really Advanced Setup, which is still a mod and cannot be used (as of yet, until Firaxis decides to release something other than a scenario) in multiplayer games.
 
I became bored with the spinning globe bug during AI diplomacy, and discovered a crucial coding mistake that prevents proper initialization of the trade screen (took me slightly over 5 minutes to indentify & fix this 6-month old bug :rolleyes:).

Since the bug may also be the reason for the severe diplomacy exploit in multiplayer, I updated EUI immediately for users to check this out (version 1.13 lived only 2 days :lol:).
Only players using EUI would be prevented from using the exploit. Rememer that the game does not check that all playes have EUI, and that EUI will not appear in the game's DLC list.

Version 1.14 (February 19th, 2014)
  • BugFixes: fix diplomacy bug with spinning globe mouse cursor
  • NotificationPanel: open religion popup immediately when creating or enhancing a religion with a great prophet
 
I added right-clicking the Diplo globe (right top) for immediate access to the WC... do you want the file? (I'm not sure, but I assume for that small change we have to include the entire Diplo lua file... that is what I did).

First of all I'd like to thank you for this wonderful MOD, very neat indeed.
Now then, I combined your EUI + CSD (City-State Diplomacy MOD - Gazebo) by following your instructions and worked beautifully.

I want to know if there is a way to make it work with [EUI + DLL of WHoward (CSD + CDF)]? Any help would be awesome!

I've noticed the notification panel column now shows up on top of other UI elements, such as the diplopanel. Is that something you introduced in an update, or something I inadvertently did while poking around and making my own customizations?
 
for the 1.14 fix do you need to start a new game for it to be effective ?

I'm asking because I upgraded to 1.14 in a running game and I just got that bug where once you get out of diplomacy you stay with the spinning globe mouse cursor.
I fixed it by opening civilopedia.

that said maybe I have a mod which would overwrite your fix ??? is there any file I should look for ?

edit: I asked about the files, because it can't repeat that bug at will.
