Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

I'm happy to announce an update to the German translation files. Tested with EUI v1.30l and v1.30m
Feel free to include them in your next release.

See here for updated translation files.

Just installed version 1.30m on a clean install (I have had prevoius eui versions on a separate computer). I prefer the default city view so I removed the CityView folder from UI_bc1 folder. The city view didn't change. I ended up deleting the entire UI_bc1 folder from the Assets->DLC folder and deleted the text files, cache, and ModUserData files from the My Games folder. The EUI options and interface are still present in the game, even without the folders. I just want the default city view, not sure how to fix this. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Edit: I think I fixed it. The eui files were deleted. I re-added the files, but this time I deleted the CityView folder from the UI_bc1 folder, and then put the UI_bc1 folder in Assests->DLC. I tested it and get the default city view now. Not sure how I was still getting the EUI without the UI_bc1 folder (I checked multiple times that it was indeed deleted), but it works now so, oh well.

Hello everybody. I there a simple way to find excess resources using this mod? I can't find it.

By the way, when i hover over the Happiness smiley, I see a massive list of resources, but it's the inconvenient list as one would see it in the normal economy menu. And it's truncated as well because there's too much to list, so that's not really an improvement over the standard method.

P.S.
Is there a full manual available?

Cheers everybody!

Love the mod! I really appreciate all the work you have put into it. Would really appreciate your help with a bug my friends and I are experiencing.

Bug report: - (sorry if this is the wrong place, the link in the 'Readme.txt' is dead.)

Game version: 1.0.3.279
Expansions & DLC: All
Platform: PC
Problem: The game crashes between player turns, both in single-player and multiplayer. This problem occurs for both me and at least 2 other friends who have installed the mod. We are all British, using British English on our PCs if that matters? The crash usually occurs right after receiving a city-state notification during the AI turns, but I am not 100% if this always precedes the crash. The crashes are not predictable, happen on different maps, and will not recur if I save from the latest autosave on the same turns necessarily. I think the crashes are more frequent as time goes on, but I am not sure. We all have the UnitFlagManager deleted, but I think I have experienced the crash even with it but could not confirm for certain. I have experienced this crash with 1.30m, 1.30i and the latest 1.29.
Screenshot/game save: N/A

I am happy to do more testing if it would help. Please let me know what you would like me or my friends to test.

Turn off auto-saves completely. See if the crashes stop.
I'll give that a go, mate! I hope that isn't the issue/could be fixed if it was, as having turnly autosaves really helps in multiplayer when issues inevitably arise! Will update.

Problem: The game crashes
Your lua log in "precrash.zip" does not show EUI is installed, only the "postcrash" one, is that intended ?

if you want to debug this, try EUI installed with only its core folders zXXX (the other folders have to be completely removed outside of the CIV DLC directory). Then add folders back progressively until game crashes, and report :D It's a bit tricky since the crashes do not reliably happen...

Yes, that is intended.

Thanks for looking at this mate! I have a group of friends who play, and we all love your mod and want to get it working reliably.

Per WeePetal's suggestion, I tested with the autosave feature off, and that did not fix the issue. I had another crash. I should clarify that when I say 'crash', what I mean is that the game freezes and must be closed with 'end task' in task manager from another desktop, the game does not close itself. Interesting this crash occured during a 1v1 on a Skirmish map with City States disabled, so they must not be the cause of the issue afterall!

When you say the other folders have to be removed outside of the CIV DLC directory, what do you mean? Should I just delete all the non-zXXX folders in UI_bc_1 and then put them into asset\DLC? Then add back one by one until crashing reoccurs? I've seen online that apparently someone had a similar issue, reverted back to 1.28, and it was fine. Which folders have been added since then? I think they are the most likely to have caused issues. I could test them first.

It has occured to me that I helped all my friends setup the mod, and only we seem to have this issue. I think I got them all to copy my settings? I am not 100% sure if all of them copied my settings or not. I will try testing with the default settings. I crash with both City State leaders on and off. It may be that there is some unique clash with my config setup, so I have attached that also.

I play the game a lot, and when in singleplayer I play with your mod and just load the autosave when it crashes, so I think eventually I will do enough testing that we can get to the bottom of it.

either delete them (safest) or move them anywhere NOT in the DLC directory tree

it's useless to compare, things have changed over the years. AFAIK 1.29 is the most stable, 1.29i is the last and most mature of the lot (there were a few later 1.29 versions that really should have been named 1.30x). That was because a few users like you helped chase 1.29 stability issues at the time, if you can help with 1.30 maybe it can get even better...

Okay, I will do this and report back! Btw, when the mod crashed in my 1v1 was had barbs and city states off - so both of those can be ruled out as causes.
