Enhanced User Interface v1.30m

@SkyeMcCloud: thanks I am aware there are issues with move, firing and city range displays

@Anon12345: I no longer work on 1.28, if you're using that version you have 2 options:
  1. use the beta instead, it might be more stable in your case
  2. using 1.28g, remove folders/features from UI_bc1 until you find it no longer crashes

@bc1 -- As always, thank you for making this mod, and thank you for your continued support of it. It transformed the game for me.

I thought you would be interested to know that I have just tried the latest beta on the new version of MacOs (High Sierra) and it does not seem to work at all. It is not possible to move the selected Unit. The previous stable version has been working fine (I played with it yesterday). I am sorry I don't have a lot to give you. I can re-read how to activate logging on Mac if you like, but I understand that you may not be interested in supporting the mod on that platform. High Sierra has actually stopped Civ5 from working on any Mac with a Solid State hard drive because of the new APFS file system. Aspyr will take a long time to fix it, if they ever do.

Best wishes.

Beta14 issues:
In the minimap options menu, the city banners toggle shows as TXT_KEY_EUI_CITY_BANNERS.
In the minimap options menu, the Unit Flags toggle shows as TXT_KEY_EUI_UNIT_FLAGS.
In the minimap options menu, the porcelain and jewelry toggles have the marble icon.
Sometimes I'm not able to open the city view when I click on the City Banner. I've noticed it's more prevalent if there are no units in the city.
If I click on the city banner when there is a unit in the city, the unit is selected instead of opening the city view.
Sometimes, when I select a unit, the light blue movement range band does not display. I have to click the unit a second time to make it display. The same thing happens with ranged units and their red fire range band. I have to click the unit a second time to get it to display.

I play at 3440x1440 how do i increase UI size without using small resolution? Doesn't Blue Marble make changes related to this. Also adding the Carbon HD module to the Git version cashes when loading mod.

Thanks for your fine service Leoreth and others!!!

As I've seen in many videos this is not a bug. Anyway, these shadows look terrible on my 720p laptop screen. Is it possible to disable it?

In the meanwhile does anyone have some advice regarding this mod on Linux?

Yes, do what I do. Install wine, install steam, civ 5 inside its own wineprefix , disable in game overlay, use direct9 mode and install eui and whatever other mods your heart desires. Game on!

The Linux version just doesn't work as well with mods unfortunately. And forget about DLL activated mods. That was the main reason I decided not to go native for this one.

Where the latest Firetuner issues solved? Last tested this a year ago. 1.28e was the latest version that worked. 1.28f and g were broken.

Also with 1.28e the turn duration is broken. EUI should not affect gameplay, but it does, see this thread:
https://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/steam-internet-game-very-slow-turns.614235/#post-14981566
With EUI (only tested in multiplayer with and also without any modpacks) the waiting time to go to the next turn increases dramatically, to several minutes.

Wine+Civ5 gave me some trouble in the past
Thanks for the advice!!
Also, disable directwrite along with disabling steam in game overlay. It's good measure to prevent annoying or intermittent problems. I use the latest wine staging and on settings, enable CSMT. And make sure that the same recommendations from wine appdb are applied to the installation for civ. I stopped dual booting a long time ago.

The ones with issues, are you using JFD's mods? If yes, they are not compatibility with EUI. If you are using JFDLC (combined mods) and Historical Religions, there is a known issue between these 2 mods.
