Long story short, DirectX crashes during the loading screen before intro, I have yet to make it to main menu. It was working fine, then poof, this nonsense. No matter the DX selected, it will crash.
I have slashed everything, fresh reinstall in a new location, no mods, no dlc, no nada. Verified files, etc etc etc ETC. Updated/repaired all vcredist, direct x. Uninstalled nvidia geo experience, and other advice I've found scattered here, but nothing.
Ended up getting Visual Studio, to run the JIT Debugger... most I got out of that was that PDB Files weren't being found.
TLDR: Even stripped to Vanilla base game, completely fresh, with not a single addition, updated/repaired/refreshed everything, DirectX still crashes before making it to main menu.
