Well, the release date is July 9 which means we have about eight weeks left. While they certainly could reveal a Civ in each, they also have four more weeks to fill.
Bloody hell, if I've got my math right that's 6 pm central time and I will therefore be at work. Guess I won't get to see it until I get home... I'm gonna be antsy today D:
Hmmm, I'd be more excited if I thought something new would be revealed but I doubt it. The first one will probably be a Poland player talking about great works of art.
I just don't see a civ reveal this week. That's the kind of thing they let the magazines do for the clicks. This week will probably be a new mechanic or a scenario.
Here are the possibilities:
1) Tourism - we've seen the tourism overview screen, but not the buildings
2) Ideologies - We have hardly scratched the surface here. We would like to see more Tenets and the technicals on city flipping.
3) World Congress - We saw the Rev video which showed the resolutions. We haven't seen a vote take place yet or the bribery.
4) New generic units - Bazooka? Are there any others?
5) Archeology - we haven't actually seen them dig up an artifact or make a landmark.
6) Known civs - We haven't seen them play as Assyria, Zulu, or Brazil.
7) changed civs - We don't know if France is the only one.
8) scenarios - They did show some scenarios for G&K last year. None yet so far for BNW.
9) Exploration & aesthetics - we know next to nothing about them
Yeah, my preference are Ideologies and Scenarios. I'll add New Social Policies as well.
Tourism has been covered before in connection to Great Works and it'll likely be covered again in relation to ideologies, so it might not need its own feature. World Congress actually seemed decently featured in that last walkthrough so I'm not so interested in that.
Changed Civs would be nice too. Provided it's not just France (in which case they should give us the info, but we don't need a whole thing on it).
