Escape From Zombie Island 2: The Remake

Thanks WonderGrunion... Just finishing a New Civilian for the Survivors. Have to make sounds and test all in game. He uses a Baseball Bat as his weapon :lol:


The Jaimo Unit will be the Nerds in the Game :)
Still need a new Detective... that is next.

Good to see those updates. :) Btw, NavyDawg made several very nice law enforcement units some time ago and I always wondered if they're going to make an appearance in Paradise City.

Ares de Borg... Yes, I have the Highway Patrolman, Policeman in the game for the Authorities :)

Edit... Ash is the Survivors Champion and I used the Search Light with some additions I added. All of these were by NavyDawg.

The Sheriff is in the game for the Farmers as "Lawman Jed then he upgrades to Deadly Lawman Jed :lol:
 
Very good. :) I was thinking about the SWAT unit, the Police Cruiser and maybe the boat as well. But I guess the car would have to be resized?
 
Yes, the Cruiser and Boat were far too large. I have a 1991 Polski Fiat 125 I could make a Police Car unit from but there are many Cars and Trucks in the game now... maybe too many but transportation is no longer any problem on Paradise Island.

If I do make a Police Car I would probably only add a couple of them to the Police Station as one of a kind units so no others could be built. The Highway Patrol would seem more appropriate in a Patrol Car but there are many problems that prevent adding the two units together and keeping the correct sizes.
...The Other factors are setting the Cars so only Highway Patrol could use them... This is because the methods to accomplish this have been used for other units already.

...for example, "Hazard Trucks" that are auto-produced from "Acme Hazardous Transports" that can be built at North Shore Industry, transport all explosive units (Exploding Sheep, Oil Barrel Bombs, Homemade Mines, Mustard Gas and Chemical Bombs).
 
tom2050 did a nice resize job on the cruiser if you're interested

King Arthur... Yes... If I am not mistaken, the guys inside the Boat are then too small. This was the same with the Car.
I resized both units long ago and that was the problem.
 
yes thought that might be a problem. And like you say there are enough vehicles already. Transportation is not a problem except for the streets full of zombies :)

Should have EFZI2 Complete Finished before "World War Z"...that movie is due at the end of this year.
 
Anyone here watch "The Walking Dead" on AMC? The Farmers and The Survivors now have an alliance against the Zombies. Oddly enough, The Farmers didn't start out at war with the Zombies in "The Walking Dead" either. I think the Authorities and The Company have already been destroyed in this show.

Just a few unworthy and very late words to express my gratitude for this wonderfully amazing and quite unexpected (on my part, at least) mod.
Although, I had acquired this mod a few happy years back, it is only now that I give you much deserved praise.
And, of course, congrats on your recently won Fantasy Mod or Scenario Award. Quite deserved in my book.

I never thought of it that way, but you're right about the Survivor-Farmer alliance.

I'm not sure if the Authorities and Company have been destroyed... either one of them could be out there somewhere. The Survivors were hoping to find Authorities at Fort Benning when they got sidetracked by Occupy Herschel.

I'm looking forward to the season finale. Also looking forward to the complete version of my favorite scenario! :)
 
Hey bkwrm79... That Show is a Very interesting coincidence :)

Just finishing another unit that has been a "Pain". Have to remake the Death animation which was very difficult and time consuming but when finished it should be OK.

Many "Trials and Tribulations" going on in my Life but I am continuing to work on EFZI2 Complete, Alone.
My Testers went off on other things and I have not heard anything from them for an extremely long time ( around a year) so after I finish the Units I want in the game, I will have to Game Test all Factions and make any needed adjustments... THAT can require a VERY LONG Time alone.

Although I will Game test everything myself regardless of any testers... it is still helpful to have someone interested and willing to game test and provide feedback.

IF you are interested in Testing... let me know. I would like to have anyone who is genuinely interested in the game and willing to stay with me to help :)
 
I'll be available to test it out a bit over the summer from mid June to early August, if testing is during that period.

Summer because I would have just finished undergraduate and a good 50% of my responsibilities. Then I'll be off to graduate school for Physics and have my time all eaten away again.

Yeah, I'm still around. I hardly have done any Civ for the past few years because of working on my Physics degree, and would really like to get back into it.
 
Might be up for testing next week or so. Will contact you at SOC when the time comes.

btw it's nice to see some of the characters from this scenario pop in from time to time.
