I was out of class 2 minutes early and I should get detention for an hour after school because of that? Yeah right. He gave half to bloody class detention for being out 2 mins early when our bloody teacher let us out early. Only the goody goodies stayed behind for it.

I got out of detention (3 minutes) early because the teacher was offering it for people who can answer this one kid's science questions.

If I need to get out getting one, I would just stay away from that fine line of detention and joking around. I know where it is, and generally stay away from it.

Or just deal with it and turn up. If you think it's unjust, balance it against the unjustness of the stuff you've got away with.

How have you people gone about escaping from detention? I just ran away and hid in the library behind the bookshelves when a teacher tried to give me detention today. Any better or more subtle methods that can be used?

Just when they say, if they arent stubborn, just hide. Try to engage in a conversation with a teacher. Or if nearby, a bathroom. Or just hide somewhere if he turns around for a sec or 2.
