Existence of God (split from old thread)

Why would we be reborn? Why not just be an entity that changes through time? It then becomes a four-dimensional entity
Just a four demensional being? What about the you that sits in the background taking all the credit? (For lack of a better description). Otherwise known as the infinite you. That is what is being distinguished. I would still not classify it as the soul. The soul, at least in my logical thought process, is currently lost even to this unconscious you we are trying to define. Regardless of all the religious and cultural connotation that goes with the soul, there seems to be a larger disconnect with the soul than with the unconscious you. There is still a part of you that the conscious you has little control over. That is the you that desires a "spiritual" dimension that the physical you balks at.

Sand is not infinite, because it can only be found on planets, and is finite in the local sense, but it is not finite, in the logical conclusion that it could be elsewhere in the universe. If the universe is infinite, then sand would also be infinite. Infinity is not bound to lacking a beginning, it can just be without an end.
Sand is made of silicon and oxygen (silicon dioxide). Both elements are found in stars.

According to Wikipedia:
Wikipedia said:
In astrophysics, silicon burning is a very brief sequence of nuclear fusion reactions that occur in massive stars with a minimum of about 8-11 solar masses. Silicon burning is the final stage of fusion for massive stars that have run out of the fuels that power them for their long lives in the main sequence on the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram. It follows the previous stages of hydrogen, helium, carbon, neon and oxygen burning processes.

Not that these stars actually have sand in them, but the elements are there.
