Expansion Civs

Babylonians.

Only on a personal level. I may miss them as a civ, but I miss them more as my enemy

assyria, turks, korea- but all the choices are more than acceptable (however the xp is titled "warlords" so it would follow that the three would all have to have some kind of well known warlord type leader- Sargon , for assyria is an easy one- but portugal? And i do not agree with Gaul, (Celts) in so far as a first choice- but will admit they had a warlord. I would rather see at least one modern civ thrown in there for the daring of it - but then again there is the warlords thing...(portugal would fit the modern country idea, and someone wrote a list of what that little country did which was both lengthy and impressive- but who is a portugese warlord? maybe a admiral or something?)
hmmm. so back to that idea, the best warlord civs that are left would be Zulu, Assyria,
Turks or whatever Asian countries had warlords (don't know much about Korea or Vietnam other than the latter has beaten the best armies of the world- the mongols, china, france and the u.s.)
i agree with the "i miss the Zulus" poster. So do I. They actually added something to the game, always attacking with them crazy impis that were damn near impossible to kill.
ok i changed my mind i say Zulu, Assyria, and Apache for the hell of it.

Zulu, Babylon and Portugal.


Babylons and Zulus must be in there. The're so awesome they just have to. Portugal is a much underrated civ, and was a major player in South America. And besides, I felt like Portugal.

Well of course I have to add my thoughts-- ADD MORE ASIAN CIVS!!! I would like to see at least 2 more Asian civs. Korea would be first because it deserves to be in flat out. And for me Siam would need to be next as a Southeast Asian power (an area which has yet to be represented by any civ game). I have already debated "why Thailand/Siam over Vietnam or Khmer?" on the other civ expansion thread. Doesn’t matter that much right now as I am not even playing the game anymore but I love East Asian culture and think that it should be represented in every flavor- Chinese, North east Asia (Japan, Korea) and South east Asia (Siam). Once they get the game to run well on my system I will be playing again, I just want to play it as King Chalulongkorn frustrating the European plans of colonizing Asia.

Babylonia - Native American - Other

Babylonia- I think this is one they would be foolish to leave out
Native American - I just think that with the Incans and Aztecs in they will stretch out into Native Americans over the Mayans for a new "element"
Other - I wasn't quite sure about the others although after reading through the posts I too agree my third guess would be Korea or Siam. SO it should be "Asian" as my third guess.

I am expecting to see babylon in the expansion pack, but I really hope there will be a north american civ added.

Turks are no thoughts. They have to be in the game!
Sumeria has already been started for the vanilla version, and was then kicked out (there was a thread on that sometimes ago), so I highly suspect them being in. Voted Babylonians for them too. I personally would favour the Assyrians though.
My third bet is the Koreans (voted Asians here), just because it's a modern country with quite a gaming capacity, nevertheless deserves the place and would be a non western/european/mediterannean civ.

I'd miss the Poles though here (instead of the Celts)....

I'm with you on the Koreans, but I suspect it will be Babylonians or Sumeria rather than both. Money is on the Turks for the last slot.

I'll repeat myself by saying that Carthage, Gauls and the Vikings are possibly the big 3 that I would have wanted so I'm not going to complain either way.

happy to see carthage and the vikings in the expansion... i voted for a native american civ, babylonians and turks... you just can't not have the babylonians and i was a bit disappointed in them not being in it to start...
