The RPG is set either right after F2 finishes or not more than a year after that. Thus there are a few cities known in the Fallout universe.
Cities:
Arroyo - destroyed by the soldiers of Enclave it is gone as a village. It used to be a village of tribals protected and located on top of a high canyon. It is surely to be rebuilt by the survivors of Vault 13 and Arroyo.
Broken Hills - a mining community composed of all humanoid races - mutants, ghouls and humans. Recent mining and xenophobia crisis were resolved by the Chosen One. However the future is still uncertain for this community. Broken Hills has a few shops, one caravan office and a tavern run by a ghoul in apron. There is also a small power station and uranium mine with a processing unit.
Den is sometimes referred to as Little New Reno. It used to be a town of poor and Jet addicted people with a few businesses running. Now with criminal traders gone, Slavers Guild destroyed and Jet gone with disappearance of Myron,Den is becoming more and more deserted every day. Laras gang fights with a few small gangs over control of whats remaining. 3 bars/taverns are still operating and Smitty is running his car shop. However with a power vacuum and its financial basis gone Den stands little chance of survival.
Gecko - a city of ghouls where they hope to be left in peace. A crisis with the Vault city and their own huge power plant was resolved by the Chosen One so the town does not have any problems of its own besides general animosity from Vault City. There's one bar, two traders and one technician.
Klamath a small town of gecko hunters, rat trappers and brahmin herders. Two bars and a bath house are worth of notice in this place.
Modoc lives of farming and Brahmin herding. A caravan office, a church and a couple of traders stay in the city. Modoc recently established contact with an underground community of humans and ghouls which nominally joined it and can be found a little to the North of it. In Modoc Inn a traveler can try something called eggs that has amazing healing effects.
NCR New Californian Republic, previously known as Shady Sands. NCR is THE most powerful force in the area constantly increasing its influence on other cities North, South, West and East from it. NCR (city) is a big settlement with a large police force. NCRs main products are bramin and agricultural goods; however NCR controls many towns that produce more valuable goods. NCR has a good hospital, power plant, two taverns and gun shops.
New Reno a town of sin a violence is recovering from family genocide inflicted by the Chosen One. Wright family the only family to survive took control of New Reno trying to turn it into a normal town. Main income comes from gambling and alcohol production.
Redding a mining town. Thanks to the Chosen One the one mine of two is now activated and Redding joined NCR. Besides a casino, a doctor a few stores and a sheriff, Redding has beast fights where citizens gamble.
San Francisco has survived the war, but is now mostly populated by Chinese survivors. A fairly advanced, but conservative society lives there.
Vault City very strictly regulated society. Financially it survives from slave labour and high-tech products especially medicine. Biggest problem of the Vault city is under population. The City has everything a high-tech city has to offer. It is surely to be taken over by NCR.
Military Bases:
Navarro an Enclave Vertibled base. Unfortunately the Chosen One did not cleanse if from Enclave soldiers and never visited it since its downfall.
Toxic Caves a former military base of unknown purpose North of Klamath. Currently has no strategic value and is inhabited by geckos. It is moderately radiated.
Sierra Army Depot - completely abandoned and half-destroyed military base.
Vaults:
Vault 13 origin of the Vault Dweller and Arroyo tribe is now still in a good condition to serve as a home to anyone. Its future is unknown.
Vault 15 with Darion and his raiders gone people living around the Vault re-structured their city and tried to make the vault hospitable.
