Chimera Tanks:

The tank itself is basically a low chassis propelled by screws, with a laser cannon jury-rigged to the drill tower. Originally, it was used for oil drilling in the Alaskan tundra. Although many considered it a fabrication, this disposition soon changed. Sources vary on where the current "fleet" comes from. Some state that it was truly at Anchorage, causing the US army a serious headache, while others believe that they were only recently refitted from the original job.

Officially named inferno units. Not much to say about them, but their arms are probably pre-war.

Crimson Dragoon:

Crimson Dragoons are not the original Crimson Dragoons. The original was a stealth unit that formed the elite guard of China. The modern still specializes in stealth, but prefers a silenced gun as it is stealthy and may leave less marks than a sword cut. They often travel along with Chimeras, forming a rear protection for the vehicles, but also performing covert missions. It's been suggested that the current leaders of the Republic were once Dragoons.

On the STAT sheet the "Stats for update" section is visible. So I can see that someone is getting a heavy and a factory next turn. Is this meant to be visible?

NightKin
They serve the Master. They bring the pain of healing to the world. Angels in the night, who redeem the world by bloodshed. Curiosity is a foolhardy emotion, but doubtly so when it comes to the Nightkin.

Understanding the NightKins :
Heirarchy :
Nightkin soceity is regimented in 3 factions : Scholars, Warriors, Workers.
Scholars include the MekMen and the Doks;
The Doks are, in essence, the fathers of the Nightkin soceity. Doks prepare and maintain the concoction that is needed to make a “Nightkin” in the first place. Based on the outcome, a Nightkin is transferred to the barracks or to the Pit, to work in the factories.

The MekMen are in charge of various constructions and innovations. Most of the NightKin armor and weaponry has been developed by the MekMen, with inspiration from the Robotic civilization. Last anyone heard, and not many have access to their chambers, they were working on a machine that would let a Nightkin levitate for some time. To what end that would be useful, no one has any clue. It is very rare that a Nightkin would emerge as a Dok or a Mekmen. Most simply grow stronger and more brutish. Approximately 2% of the conversations results in these “scholars”.

Warriors form the 2nd rung of the NightKin society. The senior men are called Jarls, or captains, other lower ones being Goffs.
“TIoerun” - In the NightKin Society, a Jarl commands his own group of warriors, each of these groups being called a TIoerun. Goffs in each TIoerun, carries their own emblem and flags. Half the riches and loots acquired by a TIoerun, are kept with themselves. The human captures and rest of the loot is deposited to the realm. A Jarl with enough “Killyness” can attract many more Goffs to his following, thus being a bigger force.
** Killyness - A typical characteristic of a NightKin warrior, which is acquired by killing more and more foes. A Jarl gains more and more Killyness ny defeating armed groups bigger than his own Tloerun.

The lowest rung is occupied by the Workers. They are basically “slaves” that work in the factories.

An act of fornication between 2 nightkins often produces another Nightkin, that are trained in our own academies. At the age of 13, they are transferred to a TIoerun, to be trained for the next 6 years. At the end of this, depending upon his abilities, they are either absorbed into a TIoerun or thrown into the Pits, to work.

For our industries to work properly, we need some more manpower, i.e. more NightKins. Our “special” concoctions when sprayed upon the captured humans, provide us batches of new manpower. Nightkins, being nightkins, are hardy workers, that can work in our factories for hours at a time. Our Doks, medical geniuses, would often monitor how we can ensure that the labor work force doesn’t breakdown due to the long hours.

To keep up with our manpower requirement in our kingdom, raids will continue in the neighboring provinces as usual. The modus operandi remaining the same : Capture as many humans as possible, bring them to the base, to be made into Nightkins. If there are any armed groups that are spotted, the Jarl in charge of the Operation would be making a call whether to attack the group or to slither away from them. If there is a chance that a group of armed patrol can be engaged, and won, a Jarl will always choose to fight rather than fight. After all a Jarl would be needing enough “Killyness” to establish his own “TIoerun”.

Advances of the NightKin Technology : Them humans discovered Robotics, yet we of the Nightkins are the ones that truly know the actual value of this. Rummaged from the leftovers of the skirmish with the robots, and using the same, we are making the real beasts of the battles, we called them Einherjars. A goff that has taking irreparable damage in a battle, who were left to work in the factories, are being now being remodelled, with robotic parts provided to them, that increases their battle capacity to heavenly heights. An Einherjar is often present among the ranks of the Jarls, the captains of the battlefields.
Warriors of the Jarl classes, are often armed to the teeth, and quite literally. Most, if not all, are attached with power claws, along with a heavy weapon of their choice. A small percentage of these men and also provided Bazookas as well, to blow up the heavy robotic armies that we have faced so far.
