Maybe just me ... but can't tell much with the all black background ... hard to tell anything apart from the size ...

I belive that probaly has more to do with the size then the black background.

Here is a screenie of the Sec Bot at full size. Unfortunately you lose a buttload of detail at civ scale.

That is just sooo American ... I love it ... well done ... does it come with one of those pinetree air freshners?

Nope the one that comes with it is a wee bit old, about a hundred years and no more available. ;) :D

TJ, this bot was a repair bot that could also wield weapons. They were found In the Sierra Army Depot, along with the Sec Bots. Also if your science skills were high enough, you could actually Make a Brain Bot as a NPC for the party. BUT you needed a brain, and that is where your sci skills came in. ;) :D
In the mod, I am toying with the idea of using them as workers, but workers who can fight back. :)

@fe3333au, Well considering it is over a hundred years old, and in a jar exposed to sunlight, it is a wonder it is not MORE brown. ;)

The new units are looking great THor.

Yeah, great looking I think.
Not sure about the SecBot though.
In theory, these will be constructed, by the Bots, so don't know about the rust. I assume bots wouldn't create something that's rusty already. Or perhaps you're rationalizing it by "For the first gen they're activated, so some could be rusty with age"? If you'll keep the rust, I don't know why, but some rust in the head area would look normal. And the feet(first thing that touches ground). Try opening a texture in an image editor, paste a part of a rusty tex on it and save it as a copy then use it, for some akward, or satisfactory at times results.

Maybe two versions could be done, 1 for Bots constructed ones, one for other players that find them and activate them.
Normally this could be said to be a problem for the Brain Bot, but you can't know what preservation fluid is used, so in several cases it could have an effect of darkening brain tissue color. In any case, as a unit these will lose some of the colors/details shown here, so it's not something to worry about much.

The Car looks good. I think older Max versions had the ability to combine colors and textures, if this still stands, try giving it some grey, though a silverish texture might do the job fine, if you'll go for the exact look of the RPG's. I wouldn't, as we know how those look, but various stuff could be coming in various conditions.

If you're in need of textures(but normally Max comes with hundreds), visit the site's company(discreet). It has many usefull links for quite a few things(including meshes).

I've posted the screenshot for a different view of the citizen, if you'll compare it you'll see it's slightly darker. As for the credits, I was just informing the team for the status, since we've discussed it already(btw, I'll probably be sending these days the file with the credits for what's done till now).

I've also posted a new building, check the place I store them, for it.

Flame, thanks for the tips, and my copy of max came with only the basic materials and textures, about 100 total.

Here is a Face test for the Advanced Power Armor, what do you gents think?
