World Events:
Lord Erik starts a summoning (takes 2 turns)
Lord Amon starts a Sacrificing Pit (takes 4 turns)
Lord Emu starts a set of Slave Pits (takes 7 turns)
Councilman Valen starts the pits of Thracken ( takes turns)

Lord Amon has expanded to the whole of his Island.

Lord Erik has expanded towards the volcano. In from the countryside have streamed young mages, craving to learn. Ten of them have passed the tests, and are allowed to join in his army. Of those ten, three study geomancy, two fire, and five earth.

Lord Emu has expanded his kingdom, and is now rapidly building mage schools to school all that want to learn magic. The schools are practically flowing over. Ten of the senior mages have now been recruited into the army; five of them Death mages, and five of them fire mages.

Edit: Here's the rest:
Councilman Valen has expanded his ever-growing kingdom unto the slopes of Valendara

Queen Gennekka Rueben has expanded along the river Origina.

Lord Zast has expaned alog the seaside, and found that that one of the things that the mages of Life and the mages of Death can do together, is to go between the realms of Life and Death, and talk to Spirits and (with the help of a summoner) call forth
Skeletons, Zombies etc.

P.S. I think that's all. If there's anythng, Meet me on AIM or PM me.

OOC: cant think of a story, i will think of one later. but are we supposed to say where mountians are and rivers?

Geography: Moutains long the Northern Border, a river runs from these Mountains to the south sea the rest of the land is desert ( the river is like the nile in Egypt )

Orders:
expand South
continue Wonder
recruit 10 Life mages
try to summon a demon using all my mages ( like a fire demon )

Erik followed the procession. Today was the final examination. The mage trials of his kingdom were harsh but fair.
He watched as a dozen or so mages followed three red-clad masters of Fire towards the volcano. These were to sit in there and succumb to the heat until only five were left- the new recruits of fire mages.
Somewhere nearby, he knew, a likewise trial was going on for several others. Eight had wanted to become death mages. So they had opened two portals to the (Void/Æther/Halls of the Dead/Helheim), and now a chill wind blew between them. Three would die this day.

*scene split*

"It's coming through!" shrieked the summoner
"The water is evaporating!" replied two of the water mages assisting.
"You had better hold it. Even I can't hold back all the forces that would be released now..." said the necromancer.
In the clearing a huge cloud-shape assembled, as the summoning continued, and the mages frantically sought to shape it into the mist-dragon they would control...

OOC:
More later.

*scene return*
The conveyance mage was sweating with the strain. Most of the effort was over, now came his task. The dragon-cloud-vehicle had to be made to fly, and this was difficult...

Aurania was a peaceful kingdom, nestled on the banks of the River Origina. Surrounded mostly by grassland, it was the perfect spot to develop a civilization. Following the Origina southwest, however, led to high, rugged mountains. These mountains (called the "Feoures", which was an ancient word for "fear") terrified the Auranians and especially Queen Rueben. So much so that anyone who frequented them besides Necromancers was sent to the dungeon for a few grueling months.

Following the river north brought desert and floodplain, much more hospitable than the mountains (at least, as far as the Queen was concerned) and could be irrigated to provide food. Following the river to the southeast showed broud plains followed by deep, supposedly haunted forests on the coast.

As such, Auranian civilization sought to expand along the river to the southeast, until they reached the "Haunted Forests", then go north to the floodplains. Queen Genneka saw potential in these haunted forests, however. Mages who used Dark Arts were often searching for ingredients in such cursed places, and the Dark Arts were often very useful for defending one's kingdom...

- - - - -

1) Expand along the Origina to the southeast and MAYBE [your choice] a little to the north, but not much northern expansion.

2) Recruit 5 Death Mages and 5 Chaos Mages.

Next update i will do a cool story I think :)

Orders:
Expand North and east
recruit 5 Fire mages
work on wonder

ORDERS
-Save mana?
-Continue wonder

Zast was impressed by his kingdom. 30 mages have come forth with great talent in the arts of life and death. With the widsom of great spirits at his fingertips he will be able to bring order to this world.

"Bring me my mages messenger!"

All 30 mages were in front of him.

"I want you all to contact the wise spirits of the realms beyond us and ask them for guidance. Our nation's fate will rest in the hands of beings far more wiser than me."

Orders :
Contact spirits, ask for guidance.
Expand north.

Lol@Erez... THere is a dark grey. Look at the lower right!
Where are you starting?

Orders from the Dark Blue Kingdom of Wesseria:
Expand a heckuva lot
Recruit 5 fire and 5 death mages (as per the story)
Finish the summoning (see the story)
Begin wonder: The Infinity Corridor (+1 CM, +10 Spirits, lets me summon enough Spirits that my army will always have 10 at the beginning of a turn)

Desc: "As one approaches, it is a doorway, standing in the middle of a garden, and seems nonsensical. But the initiated may take note of the plants in this herbarium, or feel that the doorway is situated on a crossing between two fae-lines, the power grid of the world...
Inside the doorway is a corridor, with steel grey walls, roof and floor. Mages have walked for a week down that pathway, either coming back strengthened, mad or not at all..."

I said very dark gray, take gray in paint and add darkness to it, as closest to black as you can, just no black...

Map

World Events:
Lord Erik finishes his summoning
Lord Amon builds a Sacrificing Pit (takes 3 turns)
Lord Emu builds a set of Slave Pits (takes 6 turns)
Councilman Valen builds the pits of Thracken (takes turns)
Emu starts a summoning (takes 1 turn)

Lord Amon has expanded to the whole of his Island, and is now strengthening his army, so to have overwhelming odds when he attacks the mainland.

Lord Erik has expanded Just outside the south side of the river. In from the countryside have streamed young mages, craving to learn. Ten of them have passed the tests, and are allowed to join in his army. Of those ten, five study Death, and five study Fire.

Lord Emu has expanded his kingdom, and is now rapidly building mage schools to school all that want to learn magic. Ten of the senior mages have now been recruited into the army; all ten of them studying the way of Life.

Councilman Valen has expanded his ever-growing kingdom beyond the slopes of Valendara, and is also getting a growing stream of young mage-apprentices, longing to learn more.

Queen Gennekka Rueben has expanded still more along the river Origina, and has recruited ten mages to her army.

Lord Zast has expanded along the seaside, And has talked to the spirits of his ancestors. They have given him useful information, and are now ever vigilant, so if anything should happen, they will tell him.

Lord Shfihrer's empire has just arisen, with a some mages. Good luck to you Erez, and remember to recruit. You get two extra Country Mana because you pointed out all the countries/islands/lands on the map.

You forgot to fix the nation stats, but everybody got 3 country mana.
???   ???

Well anyway, I'll recruit 3 Fire, then 3 Conveyance and 6 life, and 3 chaos.

Colonization Plan:
Choose parties of 1 Conveyance mage, 2 life and 600 citiziens. The conveyance mage will spend a day or so expanding the field to cover them all, then will teleport them to a random location somewhere on the face of the world. (TOTALLY random, ok?) These will set up a colony in the name of King Erik 1 of Wesseria, and will report back once they find out where they are. (Since nobody knows where they are, don't show them on the map until the report in.) The life mages will then keep the population thriving until such time as the colony is well established.
I expect something like 1 reporting back soon, 1 totally useless and 1 nearby that actually helps my expansion.

Orders:
Expand south, towards the river's source (where the water mages will be darn powerful!)
Continue the Infinity Corridor wonder
Colonize as mentioned

Country Mana:2
Civfanatics name: Heine
Colour: Green
Country: The Black Mages
Ruler: Black Mage Hagfyldur
Government: Despotism
Age:Early AM
Army: 15 Death Mages, 10 Conveyance+Death+Summoning, 5 Earth+Illusion
Wonders:
Start: The lake near the Vulcano

Hagfyldur stared at the big lake, water was still out of the control of his mages, but he knew that in the future his mages would rule over all magic schools and over all magic. Just right now there was other mages around in this land, and out from the roumors Hagfyldur heard they have other ideas.

Orders:
Recruit: 5 Fire Mages, 5 Death+Fire (Stronger fire attacks).
Expand so that I control the whole lake, look for water mages and other mages around the lake, test them all and get them into my ranks.

Quadruple types??? I don't think so. You just copied the dragon mages. Summon one of each, and a summoner to boot.
I will blatantly excuse my pattern/water mages by saying that pattern isn't a type of magic, only a side.

Zast was intrigued by the messages of the spirits. He decided to act upon them quickly. Zast planned for a gargantuan monument for a great spirit offered him grand advice.

"Great achievements are a fundament of any true nation. I tell ye true, this palace shall ye build, where thine mages may perform the greatest acts. Construct The Palace of the Spirits , on a foundation of white marble, and deck it with sandalwood within. Let its height be as the height of five and thirty men, and spend time in the building of it. Do ye this, and thy nation shall prosper to the end of time."

and so Zast did.

Orders :
Construct the palace detailed above :D
Recruit 5 life and 5 death mages and 5 nature.
Expand in the direction of the western mountains.
