Not exactly what you expected, but I thought that I eventually wanted to convert those too, so I thought why not now. Especially since we have a three-way stalemate in our next faction vote. For those of you who haven't cast your votes yet, GO VOTE!

This mini-pack contains various resources found in Kohan 2. Also included are "AncientFount" structures associated with each resource - they are, in fact, obelisks made of a particular resource-material; each of them has an energy sparkle run to the top of it as its animated effect. They are pretty much the same otherwise. These are basically included for completeness sake, as these obelisks of themselves look quite uninteresting to me.

The resources themselves are:

1) Gold. Effect: sparkles.

2) Iron. Effect: gloss.

3) Mana. Effect: energy sparkle.

4) Stone. Effect: none.

5) Wood. Effect: animated swaying + two birds flying in circles above it + sparkles in the air.

Each faction actually has two levels of mines available for each of these resources, but since they are built "on top" of the respective resource model, their value for a mod that doesn't implement these particular resources is low. Therefore, I won't be converting them unless I'm specifically asked to, for any resource or faction.

These are kinda hard to imagine what they would like like in civilization. Can you add a screenshot of a couple of them w/ & w/o the improvements?

Wow. Zdorovo.

I hope, they'll use it in next release of FfH

I've never tried FfH, I want to. And I"m not going to until they use these fantasy packs. No joke.

OK, for those wondering how it would look in Civ, I've created a comparative screenshot with all of them but wood (couldn't figure out what improvement to place on it:)). As you see, they look nicely both raw and improved, although even for mundane stuff like iron, the look is probably too fantasy to use in non-fantasy mods (it could sorta cut for mithril better than for iron, in my opinion). I placed mana both in quarries and mines, so you could see how it looks with both (and I'm not sure what is the correct industrial method of mana production :D).

One note: I found out that for resources that are used with mines, it made sense to move the somewhat from central position, so they don't cover the mine itself when it's built. I've reuploaded the pack, and included alternate off-center nifs for iron, gold and mana, for your convenience.

Those don't look fantasy at all, well except for Mana. I would love to see them rplace the other ones. Maybe they could be downscaled, but even still, they're great. it's like cultural diffusion, but with videogames instead of civilizations.:scan:
I thought an emote was needed and that was the most appropriate one I found.

Maybe you should put that screenshot in the OP as well?

What colors on which ones?
BTW, is there a screenshot thread for Warhammer? Screenshots are the biggest advertisers for me. Colors catch my attention:clap:.

Zach, ive got a Monument to the Sun (using the gold one) a monument to the moon (using a light blue recoloured gold one) Obsidian column (using the iron one) and i hope to use the stone and wood ones somewhere too, but not sure how yet :p.

no screenshots as of yet though.

Oh, that's too bad :(
I'll see if I can get a screenshot of them somewhere.
