Good Job 8/10 orders in. Lord Iggy and Carmen still need to send them but Iggy said they would come today and I think Carmen will be unable to so I will start updating now. Depending on when Iggy's orders come in the update may be tonight!

You don't have mine, and I already said I'm still in the NES. And I'm sending them very soon!

I must of missed you when counting the stats. I haven't compiled them together yet so okay 8/11 orders.

I did not forget you North King. I just overlooked your stats.

The update will be really late tonight or tomorrow morning because I have to go out to eat with my family.

Orders sent. Given the onset of the update, my planned story will have to wait for next turn.

Update will be tomorrow morning. I got most of it done but I am tired and am losing motivation.

Sorry about the fast paced updates this week. After this there will be one a week so you guys have time to write stories and deal with school.

Update 1
4000-3975 B.C.E. (Relation to Earth Technology)
Expand!!! Expand!!! Expand!!!

We begin with the naval might of the cradle Corenwal. The city of Pestada which is located in the center of a triangular trade between Terenan and T'lur Pa has rose to prominence becoming not only a center of trade but a center of cultural exchange. The nation begins to also look outwards establishing small trading posts on the mainland and looking eastward claiming some smaller islands that are home to weak bickering tribes. (+1 culture, +1 Pestada trade center, +Corenwal, Tereno, T’lur Pa trade economy)

The nation of Tereno expands quickly along the peninsula to its west facing light resistance from the tribes living there. The reason for rapid expansion was simple to stop the Corenwal peoples from settling the region which would lead to inevitable conflict. Luckily they had control of the peninsula before any colonies were established as Corenwal concentrated their expansion westward and eastward onto smaller islands nearby. Expansion is also directed northwards making much less gains as several powerful tribes fiercely oppose their expansion most notably Teraden. Both sides have skirmished but no major battles have taken place yet. Tereno also has cracked down on religions making Pantheism not only the dominant religion but seemingly the only one worshipped in the kingdom. (-100 infantry, -50 cavalry, +1 rural economy)

Now we move to the militaristic peoples of Illion a bit north of Tereno. The nation concentrates on expansion and consolidation of the river mouth. Two cities are founded one slightly to the north as a port city called Megara and the other further upriver Lacedaemon. Nearby tribes are easily defeated due to the just general experience of the army which since seven years old has been training for such a day. Scouting parties are sent south making contact with Tereno and Teredan. Contact is also established with Corenwal bring the triangular trade farther north. (+1 Illion Trade economy, +1 urban economy)

Now we move once again further north to the nation of Hylon which seems to be content with their current amount of land. Instead they concentrate on building up their military on land and sea. A powerful tribe to the north moves in alarming the council of nine. The tribes is rumored to have committed terrible atrocities to all those that stand in their way and show no mercy to those that surrender. If Hylon survives they will emerge only stronger but is the council up to it?

We move southwards for once to the nation of T’lur Pa a major member of the triangular trade which continues to bring countless wealth to those involved. Peaceful trade along the river is made as ships explore far north finding how far the ships can travel. The river is vast and wide with no end in site. Several tribes join after the expedition promises them protection if they join the kingdom. A nation farther north called Laldur is discovered in the last years of the expedition. Trade has yet to make a serious growth yet but will mostly likely explode as both nations gain control over the rivers. A few tribes to the southwest join but strong tribes prevent any further expansion in that direction.

Now we look to the far north of the cradle at the Triple Kingdom of Tephan which invests heavily into improving the rural areas. Many fishing villages are established along the frontier lands along the River Teph. Several tribes migrate in from the north fleeing who knows what but tensions are rising between not only Tephan but the vast array of tribes moving in. Border disputes are common and piracy along the River Teph has increased drastically but mainly further downstream where Tephan’s control is quite limited. (-50 Infantry, -4 galleys, +1 rural economy, +1 culture (From Orders)

Terra Trifluentia continues its assimilation of nearby tribes adding to the growing Curia Patriarchae. The Dux Patriarchae encourages the construction of roads to connect all of the Patriarchs bringing much trade plus the investment into the capital attracting much trade to it. Expansion up the tributaries of Amnis Amplissium as it is known here is conducted to secure sites for the construction of two more city sites. (+Patria as a major city)

We end once again with the mountain tribes of Canidae and the Empire of the Sky Gods:

Canidae which expands to the east without having to stop in the winter due to their recruitment of their furry little friends into the army allowing them to continue expansion. Not much resistance is put up as no really lives in their targeted expansion but as they move into lower mountain regions their expansion begins to halt.

We end with the Empire of the Sky Gods which raids nearby tribes using fearsome soliders called Death Lords they plunder and sap every bit of wealth in nearby lands. Tribes to their north fat off of trade with Terra Trifluentia are the main providers of the plunder but also put up more resistance. Several battles take place in the narrow mountain passes but with almost every single one in the Sky Gods favor. The Sky God Kikataku passes away and is buried on the top of a high mountain peak in a tomb. Several hundred peasants are buried alive with him to become servants in his afterlife. (+1 economy point in plunder, -100 UU, -100 infantry, -50 cavalry, +1 culture)

Important Notes

Thanks for all the orders. Next update is this Saturday so orders due Friday giving everyone a week to write orders and stories. Stats will be done tomorrow because I need to start homework.

I will fix the maps on the front page when I am done with the stats.

Sorry about the quality of the update in certain sections which is mainly due to short orders and interruptions at home.

Nice beginning thanks! Can't wait for the map and stats.

I made a mistake on the map on Jalapeno's expansion and it will be fixed in a few seconds

Edit: It is fixed.

Nice update! Can I do diplo with the grey tribe to my south, or do I need to kill them?

EDIT: That does look better. Room for a city... :mischief:

You can do Diplo.

That reminds me. Grey tribes are just really powerful well tribes and usually will only fight back when provoked.

Okay, thanks!

I'm assuming I don't have contact with them yet, though?

You do have contact through trade from the tributaries. Nothing formal though has been established between your two governments.

Hmmm... I'm surprised that my voyage of discovery to the south didn't get far enough to reveal new coastline.

Wonderful update farow!

Lacking a name for the tribe, I'll make my own.

From: Dux Patriarchae Terrae Trifluentiae (Leader of the Patriarchs of Terra Trifluentia)
To: Gens Fluenti Orientis (Tribe of the Eastern Tributary)

Though we have traded for several years now, our nations have not established a formal relationship--and indeed, how could we when bandits infest the lands between our nations and hinder the flow of trade? As the Patriarch appointed to conduct foreign policy, I wish to invite you to send delegates to the Curia Patriarchae. Your people are much like ours--you have the same government, you also honor your ancestors, your lives are also governed by the river. As a member of the Curia, you would still rule your lands, but you would have the protection of a larger army, and a say in how it is used. Together, we could crush the bandits between us and ensure the flow of trade. Alone, a tribe is just a tribe, but united, many tribes make up a nation. What say you?

great update!!!

Ok, Guys I made a stupid mistake when I was doing orders. I deleted them before adding UUs to the front page. So everyone could post your UU description again. Front Page is almost completely updated on a brighter note :)
