My favorite is a Finnish chain called Hesburger. Voted for Subway, though.

No Red Rooster, Nandos or Oporto. :(

Nandos is not fast food akin to Maccy D's IMO. However, i do love it so if other people are classing it as fast food then that is what my vote goes to, i could drink the peri peri sauce.

I would have to go for In'N'Out Burger. I really enjoyed the lack of bull on the menu. Simplicity is key, good burgers and good chips, thats all I want.

After that I find it easier to point out the fast food chains I never visit:

KFC - I don't fancy salmonella so I tend to avoid.
Taco Bell - Been to one in the US and one in Australia, they managed to keep the quality universally low worldwide. Congratulations to them.
Supermacs - Irish chain. Run of the mill takeaways stuff. Disgusting fare in general. Theres a big branch in Dublin that is busiest at 3am, full of country types, its like feeding time at the mart.

I also have a question for Australians - why is Burger King called ''Hungry Jacks'' in Australia? Some sort of anti-monarchy sentiment or what?

Burger King was trademarked or something when they first came here. They tried rebranding Hungry Jacks to Burger King a few years ago, it didn't work out though.

It's probably explained better on wikipedia.

You'd think the Irish would be fairly keen on that as well though!

You'd think that but its American so we love it.

It is, I wonder why they didn't just buy the ''Burger King'' in Adelaide.

The "Burger King" in Adelaide didn't want to be bought out?

Yeah, but I wonder why. I'm sure they could've got a sweet deal for the name. Then again, not being called Burger King didn't really hold back the franchise judging from the popularity of HJs.

Harvey's is the best, if I ever eat fast food.

Do you guys have that in the U.S.?

I also like Taco Bell for their fries, but the last time I tried to order fries supreme in a Taco Bell in the U.S. I got really weird looks of confusion. That is really a shame that the best menu item isn't even available there..

funny...

How does KFC make sandwiches even better? They get rid of the pesky bread typically offered with sandwiches and instead they replace that bread with two pieces of chicken. That ladies and gentlemen is the “Double Down” the companies newest sandwich arriving April 12th.

The double down is simple, take a piece of friend or grilled chicken, throw back and cheese in the middle and then throw another piece of fried or grilled chicken on top. Finally, just wait 20 minutes and head to the emergency room.

If Subway counts than so does Chipotle and let's face it...Chipotle is pretty much the best thing ever.

Durum kebab. From a local place called "Kebab King". Open all night.

I think we have 1 kfc in this city. I tryed it once and will never return.

Once in a while i go to McD.

If I ever went to USA, I would definitely visit White Castle. :D
