We can "burn" forests now for absolutely no hammer bonus so its useless until....metal casting or bronze working.

Before we decide what to research, we FIRST need to elect a chieftain. I am assuming that everyone is in agreement with Cull of Uther's plan for council admission?

That would mean there are 8 Elder Council members and one of them will become Chief (rationally).

Mining-Wheel-Agriculture-WeavingFishing-Pottery-Metal Casting is what the tech tree should be. I accept the Uther plan.

What about Masonry? We must get masonry!

I support the Uther-McNair-Aysee plan.

There's a lot of forested hills and we want mines (which are more productive). And the Wheel, Agriculture and Pottery are great techs to get.

But masonry will allow us to build a quarry! And with a quarry, we can get stone! And with stone we can build artwork for the aristocracy!

But how will you feed this aristocracy, or even the peasants who will be working the quarry? The fruit of the earth is more important than any art.

I suggest replacing weaving with masonry.

Weaving and Agriculture are pre-requisites of Pottery, which is a pre-requisite of Metal Casting, which is very useful.

Actually, weaving isn't. Both fishing and agriculture lead to pottery.

But I'm guessing that the chieftain will probably be in control of this.

Since it seems like a majority of the Houses have agreed upon a selection method, we should start the process of selecting a chieftain.
