Shall I take it the redhead is the Adept then? It would be an interesting reverse philosophy if the closer they got to nature the stronger the magical power, ergo the redhead would ACTUALLY be the archmage.

I made a skeleton campion for the overlords civ I was making.Sadly,I can't add a civ to FFH 2 without having the game crash.The only other option is to take a civ away,but I didn't want to do that.Here's a picture of the model,it's not animated yet.It's the first model I ever made that was completely edited by Blender.

Hey seZ, (or anyone else who knows) i know i asked you before and you explained it to me, but ive lost the answer... but can you explain to me how to add a Gloss map to a modle?

Well, the only way I know to apply gloss without 3ds max is by taking a completely set up model with gloss (check out those weapons Rabbit, White made a long time ago), then copy your scene root into the scene root of the weapon (as that one has the environment light) and then delete the weapon and anything else unnecessary. From here on you will need to add a texturing property "gloss map" (or something along that line) and then you can apply your gloss texture there. (you will need to add it to any mesh in the scene root, as otherwise the default will be fully glossed (opposed to intuitively thinking fully diffuse).

its easy, but I cant remember anymore :)
it must be somewhere in the normal texture map screen, where you can add another map... but it should be explained in the firaxis tutorials

While making a Hippogriff for valkrionn, I found a large number of flaws in the Griffon model FFH is using.

Since I ended up fixing them as I went, I thought I'd release a Griffon v2 while I was at it.

Just a quick question here. Are there any plans to rectify orcs upgrading into human looking champions? It's a fairly common occurrence given a good priest army or mind III arch mages.
 
Psychic Llamas, after the work you did on Temple of Kilmorph, is there any chance you could give the Sidar Palace a recolour so it fits in a little better with the rest of the Sidar architecture?

i could have a go, but i dont think the actual modle itself really fits with the sidar. it would be better to use the one used for Khadi in FF.

I always didn't undestand why the Sidar's artwork has a distinct Arabian flavour.

I think the infernals could do with new art for warrior/scout/settler/worker/archer.

They're Demons, not Undead. although the two are similar in alignment and aims, they are still very different groups of creatures.

I'd suggest making one or two generic demon models, and reusing for them all, just changing weapons/tools.

The undead models they currently have ARE very good, they just don't fit with the race, especially given that those units have the Demon promotion, and upgrade into proper demons. The current models are better off used by the Scions of Patria and Legions of D'tesh
 
I would suggest taking the basic Manes unit and making it also used for the warrior, but give them some kind of weapon. Manes are the basic type of demon and a warrior is your basic fighter. The transition seems to be a logical step in the processing of demons to a higher level. WarKirby you seem to be doing a lot of those lately maybe this one? ;)

My suggested equipment?

1: Use either the Goblin's or the Centaur's Shield
2: Use the Savant's Skull Mace.
 
I'd take it a step further, and make the Manes into an Infernal Warrior UU (though still unbuildable, of course). They've already got the same stats and upgrade lines, and it's not like the Infernals are going to ever need warriors (even then, you could bring back the Ash Bearer UU and let it have no tech/building requirements).
