Strange concept. My first association would be 'you have to have something pure that can be corrupted and then you could redeem for it'. Unicorns would be perfect here, as the last not corrupted piece of creation. I always saw the film 'Legend' as dark fantasy setting.
Off course it it Kaels vision. But every one tries to paint it all over again with you own colour set.

I can't picture the normal white unicorn in FfH, but Black Unicorns as the mounts of a dark elven unit could be cool.
In a sense we already have unicorns in FfH, but not the usual fantasy versions. In many of the more credible accounts of them in ancient times, in the writings of Marco Polo, and in the Bible "unicorn" probably refer to the Rhinoceros (probably the Indian variety, which has only one horn, and thus can accurately be described as a unicorn). These contrast sharply with the medieval fantasy notion of the creature. The Dwarves already ride rhinos, although their mounts look more like a two horned African version.

yes, he´s the freak, a misshappen, something the spartans through down the cliffs, the balseraph actually find the .5 arm amusing.

I added a screenshot for you in the Sidar thread. The art design calls for them to start as humanoid units gradually becoming more spectral as they become mroe advanced. C.Roland is in change of the art for the Sidar and I think you will love his work.

Shadow is almost here, not only Sidar, Svartalfar and Malakim got new exciting art, but also the Balseraphs will show up with some new designs. here I present you the Freak, tortured, whipped, mutated, still the highlight of a Balseraph Arena fight. He uses a Chain with a Hook to do with his opponents what has been done to him by his masters and nature.

The old mutant art looked much better than the new, but then again I guess mutants aren't really supposed to look good, but hideous.
