FFH NES III: The Expanse

innovation info is up under the innovations section. these are all the innovations that have been discovered so far in the central and east expanse and then some. i'll be sending pms to my players to let them know what techs they've researched. then they get to spend the rest of their general points, then we'll get to sending out stats.

one more thing for today. i want to get the ball rolling on this thing, so everyone send me a pm as to whether you want to change your resources or not by tuesday. if you do tell me what your spending it on. i wanna see if i can get two updates out this week so that way we'll be on the same timeframe as the eastern expanse.

EDIT: updated a few sections. added in the orders section.

Have stats been sent out or is that only the Eastern Expanse?

Could you maybe send out a test email, so that we are sure you have ours'?

ok orders are out. i did what i could with the info i had, most if not all of you were missing things here and there. so we'll figure them out as they come up. Orders are due sunday at noon.

on another note, MoD and i have been discussing ur questions in addition to finishing up some other things. when we finish we'll post up the answers to ur questions

You know Ken it's always really annoyed me how you write ''ur'' instead of ''your'', and ''u'' instead of ''you''. Not to mention the lack of capitals after the full stops :p.

and "you're" instead of "your".

I got my stats. Perhaps it's just me, but I am not 100% sure of what format you want orders in. Have we got any units that can actually do anything? What actions are available to us yet?

I got my stats too. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned somewhere that all our units can do that list of actions, the advanced ones are just good at it

orders on the front page have been updated. when sending me emails put it in that format. techniques, building, and units section are being filled in now. how to research spells has been added to the bottom of the Magic section.

all units can go on all missions, it's just that certain units will be more effective than others. every PO can perform all the same basic missions listed in the actions section. techniques on the other hand are limited by the innovations you know. followers can produce 1 mallet/culture/rp/gold, you have to specify what they produce each turn.

if you have a rules question, first make sure you read the section on the first page that your question pertains to. i've noticed that the answers to alot of these questions i'm getting are right there in the rules. tho if the section still hasn't answered ur question, then go ahead and ask away

EDIT: Destiny mechanic has been explained, along with Desertion, and Training. everything is filled in now except for patron bonuses

Right... Now, I'd love if my stats contained information concerning what innovations I have since I can't find that anywhere.

I'll just use the Organization scale to judge how many followers I have to use for the actions.

Ur stats have more than one page. Look for the tabs at the bottom

EDIT: some building and unit prices have been rebalanced, and some additions to org scale rules: you cannot increase your scale by more than 1 per turn, also there is a stat penalty for a low member organizations with higher scales. If you are under half the population cap of your previous org scale, you take a -1 penalty to all stats for each 10% you are under it.

just sent mine

Workin on em now.

Couple quick questions, I'm probably just not reading closely enough though. I've got X untrained guys and no trained guys, so I can hire a trained guy and have him train? The units don't seem to have prices except turn-by-turn, so is that all you have to pay to hire one? How do you get resources - I would assume you can buy them, so is there a list of prices? (I want a building built.) Can you use resources and units on the same turn you acquire them?

Recruit works like this: you send some people on the mission maybe put In a creative idea to try for a little bonus. This will take an action recruiting people doesn't cost money, only salaries do. Do u can't use people the same turn u recruitt or upgrade them. There are multiple ways to get resources. One way is to have your units search for them in the countryside. Or have them
Go to a city or village an buy them from a market place. However u won't be informed of market value without the survey market technique, which is in a technique which is undiscovered. Post again if there are still things to clear up

Should be good. Orders sent.
