FfH2 0.32 Bug Thread

I had a goblin worker, captured from the Balseraphs while playing as the Svartalfar, building a cottage in an ancient forest. I left him alone for a good number of turns, came back, and he still wasn't finished. Animation was playing and everything, but it wasn't getting finished. Reissued the order and kept checking up on him. He did eventually build it, but it was rather odd that it took so long and seemed to be stuck.

Is Minister Kuon in the game? Maybe the Doviello split? That's the only thing I could think of other than a bug.

You're right, Minister Koun did appear in my game later with one city and was listed as Doviello.

However, I guess I am just not sure how this Minister Koun dynamic works, because Mahala declared war on him, and wiped him out in short order.

Doviello vs. Doviello

Whatever, it is pretty bewildering when you do not know Koun is in the game and I don't get the relationship when he is the same 'race' as the one pounding him. In the only other game I saw Minister Koun it appeared he was allied with another civ (Sidar, I think) and his score was combined with Sandalaphon. I don't think they had the same race, though, but I may be wrong on this.

From what I understand, when the event creating the split occurs, there are two possible choices, one which ends up with the original civilization and Minister Kuon being on the same team, like Basium can be, and the other option splits him off entirely from the civilization, so they can end up going to war with each other. Someone who knows more about it could probably explain it better than I have, though.

Playing through a Balseraph game and noticed a couple of oddities--
Revelry gave me a whopping 24 turns of golden age. Maybe that's intentional, but it seems quite high. I suspect a bug because it was my second GA, and I've noticed before recently that a second golden age I got (with a different civ, via a Great person) was 12 turns when the first was 8.

Revelry is meant to provide a double length Golden Age

Hello,

I am playing Amurites and when I built 3 libraries I started The Great Library. It was almost complete when one of my libraries was burnt by fire (it happens too often in my opinion) and because I was not fulfilling prerequisities for Great Library I had to change production. When I rebuilt library i decided to built the Great one in other city and when done I got message that it can be no longer built in city when I was building it before being forced to stop it and I recieved 502 gold from :hammers:. Quite useful but not intended I believe.:)

I've been getting enemy soldiers entering tiles that have my troops on them and not attacking and sometimes pillaging. This is patch H. Both barbs and enemy civs can do this.

Vitek, that happens when ever someone finished a world wonder or hero(I think) before you do.

Man, she must have fallen out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. ;)

You shouldn't talk about Kael's wife like that.

Seriously though, her picture is just the most impressionistic one in the game, so you can't see her as clearly. That, plus the fact that she wears so many furs which hide her figure, make it difficult to see what she looks like. She is however described as being surprisingly beautiful and gentle for a Doviello.

Charadon wants her, and I imagine he could get any female in the pack. I doudt he's just interested in strong young.

From the original post:

"2. The mod loads okay, but when you go to start a game it crashes. You experience this error if you aren't running BtS patch 3.13."

Does this still apply with patch 3.17? My understanding was that 32h was updated to work with 3.17. Is it not the case?

I ask because I am having this problem after updating a fresh install of BtS directly to 3.17.

You will be able to load the mod normally (see the big hyborem main menu and such) but get a crash when you go to actually start a game if:

1. You don't have BtS patch 3.17 applied.

or

2. You are using an earlier version of FfH than 0.32g.

I'm havin trouble. Ok, I started FfH and went for a custom game, right. It CTDed after I hit start game. So, I tried several things. Deleted all the files for and uninstalled Civ4 Vanilla, Civ4 BTS, and reinstalled both. Reinstalled patch 1.74 and patch 3.17. Then reinstalled FfH v0.032 and patch h. Still CTDin after I try to start a custom game. HELP!

From the main menu go into Advanced -> About this Build. What civ version does it say you are using?

Also make sure oyu arent playing a modmod like Fall Further.

Crashing when starting - I had to disable movies in order to play the mod or I did a CTD when starting. For a while I re-enabled movies while actually playing and didn't have a problem with movies and such... but now I just keep it off.
