FfH2 Bug Thread

I would guess that it would not break saves and it stop espionage points from continuing to add to culture, but it would not remove the excess culture generated before the save.

Nope I think this broke something. I now get 0 culture in new cities even with a religion....

Maybe because I am playing a marathon game and not a normal game?

Is it just me or does it seem strange that the Avatar of Wraith has never had the "Avatar" race. I thought it was the strongest unit in the game. Should the Mithril Golem and the Meshebar of Dis have the same promotion too if they are labled as Avatars? This makes the Godslayer not as affective I think because there is only one unit in the game with the Avatar race promotion.

From a lore perspective, the only special thing about the Godslayer is that it can kill one of the 21 angels, or gods. So it's not supposed to be any more effective than it is. I think you can only get it after Auric Ascended enters the game, anyway.

Perhaps it might be better to create a "God" promotion of some sort and give it to Auric, and then make the Godslayer have bonuses against "Gods", and then give Mithril Golem, Meshabber of Dis, and Avatar of Wrath "Avatar" to avoid confusion, since I was pretty sure they were Avatars until recently as well.

How many times are you going to report the same python error????

Since the trait bug is quite anoying and a little bit game destructive. I think he is going to report it until someone writes on the first post that a fix will be included in the next patch;)

Yes, but it has been reported some 20 times by various people.

Just played 300 turns into a patch B game, and I think the AI has a problem with researching religious techs (i.e. they don't).

I spent most of the game following the Overlords, but I noticed that every single AI I ran across was faithless (though they were happy to convert to OO after I gave them the tech manually). Keelyn, for instance, had Hunting and Mysticism but not Way of the Forests like you'd expect. Having nothing else to research after Arcane Lore, I founded almost every other religion without competition, and while this will make for an easy religious victory, I doubt this was intentional.

Yep I am getting the same thing. Turn 500 and I am the only one to have religion....

Excuse my lack of knowledge of Python. I realize the same file keeps coming up but the error appears to be showing up on different lines. That doesn't make a difference? I am sorry that I have bothered you.

No, I didn't know it had anything to do with the trait bug that has been reported many times. I was just trying to be helpful. FfH has easily become my all-time favorite game. I want to do my part in cleaning up the final product. Guess I need to learn a little more about Python.

Im having trouble getting any civ to research OO or AV. I even put the Shein in every game I play but they never research infernal pact. On the other hand, the Malakim usually get Empy and the Ljosofar ALWAYS get FoL.

It don't help when the lord of FFH hasn't posted in any public forums since June 23rd either =) - kinda leaving us in the lurch knowing he will fix it, but not knowing when we can play our goodly game again... :whipped::hide:

Do as I, start to play ordinary Bts instead, it is hard in the beginning to get used to that, but it works after some time (and damn I was bad in handling the spying game). Kael probably has taken some time off in the sun somewhere (:) for him  for us).

PS
Sorry for the hijacking, but I can't say that so much new happens to this thread anyway for the moment;)

I was playing Sheaim for the first time and got to AC 100. Apocalypse seems to be applied twice to me and once to the other civs (e.g., it's quartering* my city populations, while only halving theirs). Also, the manual says it kills 60% of the living units, which means I should be getting 16% left after it does it twice. It never has; I rerolled several times and it left me, on average, with about half that. That means it must be about 70% instead, more if the only the second Apocalypse is applied to the units I built that turn.

*Worse than that, since it rounds down; 27=>13=>6, 7=>3=>1.

when the Apocalypse event happens it kills a curtain number of living units. Shouldn't those units respawn back in your capital if they have the Blood of the Pheonix promotion?
