We all know how big of a success FFH2 was.
So we all want the next to be even better.
If you have better ideas, post them here.
Lets see how good FFH3 will be!

Can't see it. FFH1 was just like Alpha of FFH2 IIRC.

Somebody other than the current team might pick up the banner for a Civ V version. If I recall correctly, Kael has expressed interest in other projects once FfH II is finalized.

Yes, he has specifically stated that there will NOT be a FfH3.

edit: at least, not one made by the same team.

Although, there may be a Fall Further 2 in Civ 5. Even if not I believe the FfH community has reached a point where if no one from the real team will go on to make a version for Civ5 we have enough qualified modders to make one on our own.

Speaking of which, any word on Civ V yet?

I don't see what Civ V could possible including other than better graphics and perhaps more civilisations?

I hope that it covers multi-core processors. Currently Civ4 doesn't but if it didn't would lower time between turns massively. Mods such as FfH, FF, Orbis, ect... wouldn't take so long.

Well, check the threads in the general discussion forum of Civ4. Many ideas out there for Civ5.

Anyway, I can't be sure, but I guess it will be ported eventually. By who, this I don't know. I sincerely hope to still be there and able to mod to take part in such a project though :D

Maybe this actually IS Civ V. Perhaps Firaxis's whole plan was to release the barebones essentials as Civ 4 and then have Civ 5 simply be the entirety of the mod community. Why do the work when you can have hundreds of people do it better and for free?

Civ6, then.

Come on, you figure firaxis is just going to drop its flagship series or fall off the face of the . .. .. .. .ing earth?

Ummm, because they wouldn't make any money on it?

Anyway, I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned the possibility of a better AI in future versions! It's a must!

Actually, it's not Firaxis anymore. Take-Two bought them out.

I figure that Firaxis is pretty lazy when it comes to Quality Assurance. I have no doubt that they will create a Civilizations 5, but in all terms, the number of mods that exist have expanded the gameplay and replayability far more than Firaxis did, thus making the mods into nearly a whole new game. FfH2 is a prime example of this, as is the CivGold mod. If anything, they will probably have to port some of the mod features (IE: The BAT Mod, for example) to make Civ 5 an improvement over Civ4.

All I would really like is improved AI, in whatever form that may take.

Hex maps!
