I think hidden nationality units can't capture because you shouldn't be able to raid neutral territory with them and capture their units. A special case could be added for units belonging to a player you're at war with, though.
i don't really think that we should make a special case. The idea of hidden nationality is really to look like a barbarian
Unless this is a bug introduced in the latest beta release, then no, the Subdue promotions work just fine for Baron Duin Halfmorn. They do, however, let him capture and werewolf the same unit, creating two copies of it where one is a werewolf and the other isn't. I did this to Acheron once. Hilarity ensued.

You need to queue up multiple productions, otherwise it won't do anything. The help text is a bit confusing, as it leads you to think that it will reproduce the same unit until it runs out of overflow production, but this is not the case.

I do agree with you, but I would shrink the radius of the explored area rather than the range. That said, if there's anything I think should be done to hawks, then it's removing their ability to see invisible units hidden with stealth, since fluff-wise, those are usually supposed to be magically concealed. Revealing invisible animals is fine, though.
Technically, we have different lore reasons for different invisible stuff, i want to clean that up at some point, but i haven't thought too much about it yet.
The Roc unit is super huge (the 3D model).
Creating a war Sluga with Mekara (you need an arena and a slave) crashes the game consistently. This is a slight problem given that Slugas are very important for Mekara!

Is there any plan for Great Commander? Unlike the vanilla FFH and CIV, where its use are quite straightforward. AOE Great Commander can take quite a while to be useful due to a very slow XP gain from minion and AI are pretty bad at it, running around and add no bonus to a group it attached to then getting unceremoniously killed off. Also, minion promotions seems to be either underdeveloped as a whole or favor melee unit too much.
How about some buff? By making Great Commander start with a new "standing army" promotion: Grants minion unit +10% strength, +10% XP from combat, Heal extra 5% on all territory. Basically, Attached unit will always be a little bit better than non-attached unit.

What event causes barbarian Shadows to spawn in the early game? I just got wiped out on Turn 37 by a Demonic Shadow. Seems way too early for any barbarian faction to have Tier 4 units.

Possibly some AI player scout exploring a dungeon near your lands. It happened to me when Loki ran into my land and explored a dungeon (it was only a hellhound and three skeletons, but right next to my only worker, so I reloaded the save). That reminds me, I would like Loki to be unable to explore dungeons, since he's virtually unkillable and thus suffer very few consequences from bad results. It makes running into neutral players' territory and exploring their dungeons a potentially player-wiping strategy in the early game.

Any idea how to make so that when a national or religion hero is dead, he can be recreated again (by any civ), and without any xp. This pity me when the AI just waste their hero and it is gone forever.
that'll need dll work. in the svn, though, they are resurrectable (which AI knows about when choosing its mana bonus/spell promotion)
