Didn't see it on TV, but browsing the Internet today made my day. :) I'm glad they won, they were totally out of place, so that rules. ;) And to those who think that's just noise, well, just open you ears. I think I could already play their song on my guitar, at least I found out the chord pattern (not that difficult). Now, I'm far from being a hard rock fan, but that was pretty funny.

That is actually the only reson they won. They rule because of it. It's like saying "IN YOUR FACE" to the other "conformist" contestants. :goodjob:

Oh yeah Ive been around plenty of construction sites. The music sounded like lots of heavy earth moving equipment in action.

Im willing to concede that possibly, it sounded especially awful because I was listening on a crummy radio. But a construction site on a great stereo system is still a construction site;)
 
The song was OK (nothing more than that), the performance was quite good, and the result was decided by the average age of the voters. If it was in my hand, this song would have never won against the songs of either Bosnia, Russia, or Romania.

But definitely it wasn't the sound of a construction site, even for a somewhat old guy like me ;).
 
You know, I'll tell it(of course I don't care about political correctness and such nonsense): I think, she's a crazy nympho in desperate need for a real man(I mean, besides her stupid fiancee who looks at her while she's out of control cursing and insulting anybody, and who does nothing about it(her fiancee), like slapping her or take her hand by force and guide her away from the journalists to avoid further embarassment or even break up with her!--- she even attacked her fiancee who, like a real man he is, did not walked away of her but remained nearby like a faithfull dog would do).

Maybe she's more sexy when she gets mad, I don't know.

Anyway, it's good that we had a nice lough with her madness.
 
Well, since this is Greece, i suspect that most teenagers thought she was really like that. Goes on to show that this country needs to be more educated in matters of general psychology.
Probably most foreigners realised quickly that it was just a show :yup:

@varwnos: Educated is considered to sit down on my butt and hear curses without doing anything about it? That's a no-brainer for me.
I don't care if it's a show or not; she has no right to start cursing people who did nothing to her. So, what should the reporters do, start cursing back at her or beat her up? She could be equally offensive without using the dirtiest words out there(disclaimer: no, I'm not a puritan that doesn't use such words ever, but I don't just go around on the street and start trash-talking to people!)

Well, clearly, we have to do with a paranoid person: maybe she's good to make people lough with her madness and she could do a career with it!

If I had a £ for everytime i've heard someone refer to heavy metal like that, i'd have about £36!;)

In other words, I find it amusing when people say this given my habit of listenign to heavy metal rather alot!:)
