I believe the first 3 DLC items (based by the fact that the new late eras are "Modern, Atomic, and Information" there is still room for "Digital" and "Future".

I predict ONE of the next 3 DLC items will be a new "era" for one of these.

I predict Zulu will be announced soon. This is because i don't think Civ 5 will be the first without them.

I predict a second wonder pack. I believe the 3 to 5 wonders will be bundled with a scenario or two - i believe this will feature industrial or later era wonders.

So, what do you guess will be within the first 3 DLC's?

The new era thing sounds pretty novel... can't put my finger how would that work though (seems harder to add for a DLC).

I'd love to see alternative leaders for civilizations myself, Civ IV style.

Future era DLC would be sweet. Sort of the unofficial second expansion. But they will probably leave that for a scenario.

I'd like to see Portugal, and yeah, probably new wonders'll be another thing too. With 36? 37? However many playable civs there will be now (yay tense) they seem to be running out of ground they've trodden before. I wonder what others they might pull out.

It would be a new Era after information age - and would probably feature a new civ that makes use of it. Or even a 2-civ + new era bundle. At minimum its better than scenarios.

No matter what one thinks of a scenario, it does not add content to "every game" like a new era or civ does - so i think it's viable unless a second expansion (given the description calls it the FIRST expansion).

Why does everyone want the zulu? Just because a civ was in previous civ game doesn't mean it should be in another. I thing the Scythians, Hittittes, or maybe even the Mitanni.

I'd guess that the next DLCs will be Civs that somehow utilize Espionage/Religion. Zulu and Portugal seem like Civs to hold out for a "Colonial" Expansion. Just my two cents.

I would like to see a Portugal and Brazil combo DLC, similar to what they did with Spain and the Incas. But I voted for the Zulu, because I think they will be the first addition. Actually by August, Firaxis and 2K would want to roll the dice while the expansion is 'hot', and release another DLC.

They're a fan favourite and from an under-represented region, a good way to get players to buy the DLC without waiting it to go on sale. The Dominion of Canada may even appear; Canadian players will be hard-pressed not to buy it (I sure would) and the controversy of "whether it's a civ" wouldn't hurt sales. Only saying that because of the CN Tower though.

I want a Eastern European DLC...give us the nations we want!

Poland
Hungary
Bulgaria
Romania/Wallachia
Latvia
Lithuania
Estonia
Ukraine

:goodjob:

I'd buy Australia + Canada Combo pack DLC in a heartbeat.

I like the previous two ideas but I'm pretty sure they'd only put a few eastern euro civs

I would go for that, especially Canada. I play world maps and would love to see how Canada, the US, and the Native Americans play out. Australia needs a civ too either Australia as a country, or the Aborigines.

I don't think they would release a new era in a DLC, though if the next expansion* I'm sure that could be an option as I would not be surprised if it is a modern era focused one. Back to your original statement, I would think the First DLC would be something reasonably significant to incite those who have held off from getting G+K to pick it and the DLC up, with that in mind the Zulus make sense.

(*I know it is not guaranteed, but all the marking refers to this as its first expansion and if it sells well I'm sure there will be another)

I envision an Israel DLC. Come on, after Gods and Kings, with Great Prophets included? How could Israel NOT be the next DLC?

Why is the poll multi-choice? And I would add a few more options, as has been pointed out, there's a few more thinkable civs (Zulu/Bantu, Portugal, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Sumeria/Hittites, Indonesia, Poland, Israel, Morocco, Sioux/Apache/Cherokee/etc. and a whole lot more). That gives you three to four more options to put in a poll ("Native Civ", Modern Nation State, Ancient Civ, Other). The "new age" sounds a lot like it could be part of another expansion pack light. But I guess the distinction between DLC and Xpac is very fluid.

Then there's the fourth scenario as found in the files, prime candidate for a DLC. I could also imagine a "sci-fi" scenario as a DLC. All in all, the poll needs more options, no multi-choice and maybe a few days to G&K having been played ;)
