Uuuuhhhmmm...sure

Maybe Bulgaria

LOL what I love is that everyone else is loving my idea and loving Poland/eastern europe...

but why do you joke?

Bulgaria is worthy of inclusion, but you must admit Poland was larger, influence was far more vast then Bulgarians...

The only reason we will never see the Hungarians in CIV5 is due to the Huns...well maybe Firaxis will be smart and call them Magyars,,,our language is pretty unique...:king:

I'd really like to see Sumeria and the Hittites with a re-worked ancient wonders scenario involving all the ancient Med/fertile crescent leaders.

There would be no surprise if the Zulu came back and I have an idea for a trait for them. Similar to the "spirit of Adwa" how about the Zulu having a combat bonus if they're fighting a civilization more advanced than them?

Agreed on all counts! I also hope they add the Assyrians and Hebrews though. :)

How is it possible that so many want that Zulu?!
They are not a civilization and did nothing great besides a few battles, that doesn't make you great enough to be in this game!
Some people...
1.Don't have both oars in the water
2.Are obsessed by them
3.Like them for no reason

New Civ, but unlikely Zulu - they have 4 african civs now. More likely some Central Asia or slightly more Europe.

New era and wonders are unlikely - it's hard to maintain balance. one such DLC is already more than needed. Plus G&K filled the tech tree quite tight.

I don't know about a new era just as DLC but I would love to see a full future era in a second expansion pack, with a second round of victory conditions available at the end of a brand new tech tree that would carry on after the conclusion of the existing one. So if you wanted you could beat the game normally, say with a science victory or whatever, and then continue playing your empire over the course of a bunch of new eras and techs. The only issue with this is if you achieved a dom victory you would likely be the only civ left in the game... but i'm sure there are solutions to that.

I feel tha would be better applied to The Sioux they could call it Warriors of Little Bighorn

I don't know why, but I'm somewhat worried that after releasing some patches for G&Ks, they're going to be done with Civ V, and we won't see any new DLC. :( Of course, I hope I'm wrong, but I think they may feel they have the right amount of civs already in the game. After all, they had exactly 34 civs in Civ IV too, even though they had additional leaders. I don't think they've ever had more than 34 civs in any Civ game, and that's exactly how many they've had in the past two (so far). Plus, granted it's early on, but when Civ V was released, they made it known DLC would follow soon after the game, and DLC even came with the pre-ordering of the game. But they have done nothing to suggest any more DLC will be released for the game. So I'm a bit concerned that this is all we'll see of Civ V and there won't be any new DLC or civilizations, which would be incredibly disappointing considering how much more they could do with it.

Even though id prefer something like the Kingdom of the Congo as a DLC I doute they would leave the Zulu out of a civilization game.

Thats why i remain positive that they haven't finished with ciV yet. It would be a shame to leave ciV now and to just move strait on to ciVI when there's still so much they could do.

?

Id rather see assyria than sumeria. For controlling the worlds first true empire, they've never been in a civ game. Which puts them high on the list of inclusions. They even have a female leader which Firaxis so like in thier civs

I think going with the religion theme, adding Judea/Hebews/Israel or whatever would be my choice.

I'd like Zulu too.

Trying to think from the perspective of what would add a unique unit to a phase of the game that's lacking it... I just don't think Zulu would do that. Hebrews could if a modern unit for IDF were used. B17, Zero and perhaps Panzer are the only existing ones.

Other ideas that come to mind: Portugal, Scotland, Parthia, Aborigines, Australia, Ukraine, Poland, Sioux

I really, really doubt they are done with DLC. DLC is generally like printing money, so why would they stop, especially when there is almost unlimited room for further small expansion? I also think we will eventually get a second expansion, but that seems less of a sure thing. My guess is that we get some new DLC along the same lines as what we have already seen (Civs, Scenarios, Maps, Wonders) and not any DLC that really changes the game (like a new era or new game mechanics). Then maybe a 2nd expansion in 2013 or 2014. I doubt we will see anything new past 2014 because by then CiV will be getting a bit older and they will likely be working on Civ VI. I bet we get a whole new game around 2015, at the latest.

There's going to be more DLC. They did not put the effort into making this expansion so awesome to not capitalize on it more.

Hello to all,

I think that would be nice if in one DLC for Civ 5: G&K in future Firaxis add alternative Leaders for most Civs.

Especially I think on Maria Theresa because she is little ugly and fat. (please don't understand this as insult)

My option is that Franz Joseph I is more famous and important ruler
for Austria because he rule with A-H Monarchy for 68 years. From 1848-1916.
He is World longest ruling Emperor and English Queen Elisabeth is on Second place.

He been Emperor of A-H during many important events of 19-20 century from Revolutions in 1848 to the WWI...

Also I think that be nice if Firaxis add some other Leaders for other Civs Like as:

America
Tomas Jefferson
Abraham Lincoln
Franklin D. Roosevelt
John F. Kennedy

England
King George III
King George V
Winston Churchill

Germany
Kaiser Frederick the Great
Kaiser Wilhelm II

France
Charles de Gaulle

Russia
Peter the Great
Lenin
Stalin
Nikita Khrushchev

China
Mao Zedong

Japan
Hirohito

Ahoy:-)
P.S. to Moderator please delete my post (same like this) which I been post into wrong thread! Thx:-)

I am Bulgarian, so I kind of am biased, but we had 2 empires that lasted for almost 8 centuries, at our peak we were twice the size of modern Germany.

I also don't see why you ignore Poland. Last time I checked the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth was one of the biggest and most powerful countries in Europe throughout most of its 250 years of existence. I think both countries deserve to be in the game way more than the Hunns (?!).

I would also like to see the Minoans, the Aksumite Empire and its biblical Queen of Sheba, the Kingdom of Zimbabwe and the Zulu off the top of my head

You sure about that? The country that was the cultural and political Slavic centre for 7 centuries didn't have more influence? The country that created the Cyrillic alphabet used by most Slavic people to this day and was one of the very, very first countries to establish its own church independent of both the Constantinople and the Vatican? The same one that was one of the first nations in Europe to have an official language and translated the bible in that official language? This one? The one that nearly seized control the Byzantine Empire twice The one that stopped the Arabian invasion of the Balkans and saved a Constantinople besieged by 120-200 000 Arabian soldiers and 1800 ships, the biggest battle in Medieval history as far as I know? By comparison the famous Battle of Grunwald was about two times smaller. Sorry, but I guess we have to agree to disagree. I think a Bulgarian civ with Simeon the Great as a ruler would be a viable choice, not that it will ever happen

Last time I checked Rammesses II ruled for exactly 66 years. Queen Elizabeth has 6 more years to go :)

I feel tha would be better applied to The Sioux they could call it Warriors of Little Bighorn

The Sioux army at Little Bighorn was on relative technological parity with Custer's forces (via stolen rifles, and the fact that Custer didn't have his gattling guns).

Not that the Sioux wouldn't deserve that ability - I just wouldn't call it that. They won tons of battles, Little Bighorn is just famous because they really crushed the US and it was pretty much the last battle they fought - you never hear about how almost immediately after the battle Sheridan arrived and chased them into Canada.

Regardless, the Sioux would be an awesome civ to include - and if they make it, I hope Crazy Horse is their leader.

new civ + scenario

there's plenty to choose, I dont think they'll deviate from that formula.

a civil war scenario would be awesome, but i wouldn't expect them to add the confederacy for anything other than the scenario. maybe the two american sides can get a unique rifle unit, just for the scenario, though. the sioux would fit, but i'd prefer the comanche, which somebody else also mentioned, since they'd be new to the series and they could even get a uu that replaces the newly upgraded lancer.
so basically, i voted "other."
