Apparently that ends badly for both of them; I have seen lots of photos of snakes split open after swallowing alligators.

Something like that happened recently here in Florida except it was a Burmese Python and an Alligator.



Personally I don't think a whale vs. giant squid battle would be that impressive. The whale would completely own any squid.

Sometimes they don't. Some squids have been spotted with missing limbs,probably due to a fight with a sperm whale that they escaped.
