Bombers still an outside chance for the final Eight. And what about that 'has been' Mathew Lloyd for mark of the year?

He never was a has been - in my view, he has always been a champion.
The Bombers could make it to the finals and even make it into the second week if lucky.

Another good win tonight by the boys.

Anything is possible if they make it - the run home gives the Bombers a chance.

Cats still my pick for the flag, although I must admit that Hawthorn will provide a challenge, particularly if Buddy kicks straight.

That wasn't mark of the year material. He's past his best, but he's still a very good player.

The grudging acceptance of Lloyds status is what I expect from Colliwobblers - I suppose the misery of following such a disappointing club has that affect. :p

Heath Shaw and Alan Didak must have rocks in their heads because it's obviously not brains. Out drinking then driving and then lying to poor old Eddie. Have the Colliwobblers hit the self destruct button? Or have they just realised that it's the business end of the season and done what they do best?
COLLIWOBBLES

I wouldn't tar the lot of them with the brush of the few dills.
What those two did was very silly, very dangerous and they were lucky to get out of it uninjured; akin to Vanilla Ice wandering into a Manowar concert, in a way.

I would have thought Didak had his wake-up call with what happened last time he was a passenger in an interesting ride.

Both deserve whatever sanctions are deemed appropriate.
I wouldn't go to the extent of damning the whole club on the actions of two, just as the actions of Banks and Millane all those years ago didn't mean all of their teammates were in the same boat.

Didak is now genuine trade bait for Jonothan Brown. If we lose him to get Brown, I'd be very happy.

YOu are in Dream Land. They would not even be able to Nathan Brown, the NRL coach for trade. I think it is time for the AFL to step in and audit the club for bad behaviour, just like what happened at the Eagles.

Don't destroy my dream.

If I told you the Pies are a statistical possibility to win a premiership some time in the next 100 years would it make you feel any better. :mischief:

(Lloyd's mark)...mark of the year material. He's...a very good player.
True, very true.

While I was away, Essendon only lost one game, in eight weeks, and that was only by 4 points. SO as I'm back I'm sorry to say but, Essendon will probably fall out of form again. :( Sorry guys.

Considering you've got Adelaide, the Bulldogs and St Kilda after this round, you're probably right.

Troll.

Unsurprisingly, a big win for Geelong last night. Surprisingly, Melbourne was able to kick three goals in a quarter.

PHEW! Swans just got over the line against the Dockers (what a performance from Goodes!) Kinda makes you wonder why the Dockers never played like this earlier on in the season.

And whaddaya know, the Pies beat the Saints. Guess they had a point to prove after Didak and co's shenanigans.

With any luck the Dogs do us a favour and give us some breathing space tomorrow against Adelaide.

Great to see Goodesy back in form, and what about those marks by Bevo and LRT!

Against the Kangas I think you mean. The Crows play against the Tigers.

And yeah, awesome mark by Bevan. Saved us the bloody match!

That has been Fremantle's problem all year, they have lost games they should have won. By my count if they had won the games they should have, they would be easily in the finals race, but as a result of not being cool under pressure they have let another game slip.
