Foriegn Policy

I also don't want to make a foreign policy until we have met every civilization on our continent. It's pretty odd to determine how to deal with certain nations before you know who they are.

Looks like there is some role-playing going on here: we are developng pundits in all areas. ;-)

Your caution at committing to a foreign policy seems prudent, but maybe it would be interesting to do otherwise. Is our nation composed of super-rational gamers, dedicated isolationists, impulsive dominators or some other type? Why not write our cultural history before seeing the first turn and see where that leads us?

Wow 730195, I like that proposal. I would like to roleplay a little bit, but I don't want people to take my aggresive doctrine as my only way of seeing things. Yet, it would sure be fun to be a calculating warmonger. Deeply thought out invasions and global political manipulation, how much fun is that?
I happen to find it very fun. :D

On open borders, we should really scout out our land first. If we're in the open, then open borders will bill fine. If we're stuck in a certain spot, maybe hold off on the first one or two until we have it filled. Although, the AI usually doesn't settle on the other side of another civ now due to maintainance reasons (unless that's more Warlords...).

I am sure the changes have your statisfaction, hopefully:lol:
