Forum: get email PM and posts in thread?

Is there a way I can subscribe to a thread so I get an email if something is posted there?

Or/and get an email when I get a PM?

It seems I subscribe threads automatically when posting in it. So I have only the option to unsubscribe thread.

Where do I get the notification, if there is a new post in a subscribed thread?

Apparently this function doesn't work any more.

Ah I found out, that on "My Account" I can see new posts in subscribed threads

But an email, at least for PM's would be better =/

This function has not worked since January 2014. There is a long thread about this issue in the Site Feedback forum.
