And I've said that about UK and USA. France obviously was under foreign domination during ww2. But Germans didn't intend to make France its pernament province, or take places holy for the French. In central and eastern Europe, that is not the case. Look at Serbia: it's lost its former capital (Prizren) and its religious centre (Pec) with the loss of Kosovo, and some majorly serbian areas as well. My point is that, if for some reason France lost Reims or Lyons (can't think of a former french capital), the French would be as pissed off as Serbs are today.

Hitler wanted to kill all the slavs, not laugh at the slavic ability to balkanize and create tiny insignificant countries.

And what makes us different?

Because our govornments were communist?
Because one area of the world, because of the turks, russians, et all is balkanized?
Because most slavic countries are still developing?


i could think of a couple more. but why are we so different from every other human? are we inferior? superior?

The balkanization, and it's entirely your own fault. Especially when you got insiginificantly small nations coming up with vapid and pointless nationalism that often is bearing on historical revisionism.

The balkanization has nothing to do with the turks or russians - Yugoslavia, for example, had its chance to forge a single ethnic identity, but instead, the slightly different serbocroatian dialects which are less diverse than English are called different languages now.

yes super nationalism created by turks and russians.

For example, Montenegrins. They were serbs along the coast, until the turks conquered serbia, and left montenegrin serbs alone. These serbs which couldn't really be with the other serbs, became it's own identity.
